On Delchev's sarcophagus you can read the following inscription: "We swear the future generations to bury these sacred bones in the capital of Independent Macedonia. August 1923 Illinden"
Thanks for the image Bill, was looking for that on the replay.
Was an outstanding game to watch. It looked all over for Arsenal come the 39th minute, but then the goals from the gunners just kept coming. Exciting stuff to see!
Indeed well done for Tricko. Few years ago APOEL was struggling to beat Pelister now they are in the quarter finals of the Champions League. Everyone is going forward while Macedobia is left behind.
Greek club Olympiakos is heading to Melbourne for a friendly against Melbourne Victory on Saturday May 19th.
I'm a bit concerned as to how many of the greeks will overstay their visa and stay in this country as asylum seekers.......well i meant refugees, for we all know they need to belong in an asylum.

The Macedonian football federation (FFM) said Tuesday that two postponed matches in the Albanian-majority town of Tetovo would go ahead despite ongoing ethnic tensions.
The matches were postponed last week after a number of clashes between Macedonians and ethnic Albanians which left more than a dozen people injured in Skopje and Tetovo in previous weeks.
Tetovo police spokesman Marijan Josifovski told AFP the situation "is more relaxed compared to a week ago."
"We now estimate that the matches can take place," Josifovski said.
On Wednesday Teteks, from Tetovo, will now meet Skopje side Napredok. On Thursday FK Skendija, Macedonia's biggest Albanian football club, is due to meet top Macedonian team Vardar Skopje.
Josifovski said the security measures for Wednesday's match would be "regular," while on Thursday, they would be "higher" as it has always been considered a "high-risk event."
The federation has instructed the organisers of the match to take all necessary measures, especially for Thursday's match which is considered high risk because of a longstanding rivalry between some of the clubs' fans.
The decision will unblock the Macedonian championship, which was suspended as, according to FFM rules, a new round cannot be played until the previous one is completed.
Relations between Macedonia's main communities remain scarred by an armed conflict in 2001 between Macedonian security forces and ethnic Albanian rebels.
A peace deal was signed in August 2001 when ethnic Albanians, who make up some 25 percent of Macedonia's population of two million, were given improved rights.
I am a bit suprised that this was published on the Channel Ten Website
I fear for the Vardar players for todays match in Tetovo. If the police in Tetovo can't handle the streets in Tetovo how are they going to protect a Macedonian team and officials against 10,000 Albanian thugs in the stands? Away fans are banned from travelling becuase they could not guarentee their safety, I think players need to be guaranteed safety also.
Does anybody know the political views of Artim Shakiri, the former captain on the Macedonian national squad? I remember one time where after a game a massive (real) Macedonian flag was held by the Macedonian players including Shakiri. That may not mean much, but I would be interested to know if he has also expressed irredentist views against Macedonia at some point.
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.
