Today is the 100th anniversary of the start of the first Balkan War. Today commemorates one of the greatest atrocities to the Macedonian People. 100 years ago today Macedonia was divided illegally. The division led to the exile and ethnic cleansing of the Macedonian people. Give a second today to commemorate all those who suffered and lost their lives.

The Balkan Wars began on Oct. 8, 1912. 100 years later, TIME looks at images from one of the 20th century's defining conflicts.
'Macedonian rebels advance along the road to Salonica (now Thessalonika, Greece), then a bustling, largely Jewish port city under Ottoman control, in a photo dated from 1912.'

Every person in that photo knew what freedom mean't and why it was so important. If only there were than many Macedonians in Macedonia today who understood the same.If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution. John Adams

it's very sad freedom doesn't have the same meaning it did 100 years ago.People don't beleive in fighting for freedom from oppression. The oppressor will become a star or a monument will be errected.Yeah tom the'll want their smartphones first & then head off to maccaes for some angus beef."Ido not want an uprising of people that would leave me at the first failure, I want revolution with citizens able to bear all the temptations to a prolonged struggle, what, because of the fierce political conditions, will be our guide or cattle to the slaughterhouse"
