oh sirgeorge, that's not even a good bottle of wine!

next time you go, they should have from the same winery t'ga za jug. that is the best wine tikves have.

alternatively, if anyone has ever tried bovin wine. omfg that stuff is amazing. it's the most amazing wine i've ever had in my life. i like all of their reds and am partial to their chardonnay

I am also not adverse to the odd drop of skovin.

I was casually browsing the Balkan section in the wine store today and while going through Greek, Bulgarian, Albanian, and Bosnian wines, my mind was blown when I saw a wine from the Republic of Macedonia! I have many friends who have recommended I try wine from there and boy were they right.

As a wine drinker for nearly 7 years, I have to hand it the Macedonians. This wine is the best wine I have ever drunken out of the Balkans. I am thinking of buying a case now.

              Here is a picture.

Anyway, feel free to use this thread for posting about other Macedonian wines.
Macedonian wine has been on the shelf on for awhile now, just not a vast variety, they were selling a Alexander the Great, or just Alexander forget who made it. It's nothing compared to the stuff now being sold.

I see more Macedonian spirits/wines on the shelves, just the other day I saw some Brandy by Tikves on the shelf at my local liquor store.

In Australia we have a wide variety of Macedonian wine and rakija mostly from Antika

Most of the wine is from Tikves.
