GREECE's LAND GRAB - 100 YEARS ON.

A 50,000+ strong demonstration in front of one of the consulates of greece in Australia(Melbourne/Sydney/Canberra?), demanding the Greek government recognise the atrocities and suffering the Macedonians endured in the years following the Treaty of Bucharest in 1913, and demanding the Greek government stop appropriating our Macedonian culture and identity.

• A substantial amount of funds/resources would need to be allocated for PR, interstate transport.....
• Friendly PR firms would need to be given simple facts/pictures/testimonials about what had occurred and what is still happening today.
• Some of these PR firms have a lot of journalists in their pockets, so unfortunately more exposure = more $$.

Sounds like a good idea, if a global effort can be synchronised, perhaps Ilinden 2013, worldwide. Each capital city, does not need to be specifically one, but every Macedonian Community worldwide to organise community members and sympathisers to the Macedonian cause

In 2013, we'll probably all be protesting in front of the "Republic of Macedonia (Skopje)" Government offices and Consulates demanding that they stop misappropriating the Macedonian culture and identity.

Or, The Republic of Macedonia will be seeking Independence from the Republic of Macedonia (Skopje).

Do you seriously believe that anything is going to change in 2013?

Has it ever occurred to anyone that this issue is done and dusted, and that nobody will give you guys support to such an endeavour?

Wow, I knew you did not like them and of course Macedonians dont like and dont have to like them. But you really hate them ah? No wonder your responds the other day.

Stop living in the past, with this plain hate we dont come any further, it certainly does not help our future it will only keep our country more and more divided and into a miserable tense future. WE Macedonians should know better than that.

No, we, at least me and other realistic Macedonians in the Republic itself know that nothing is going to change in 2013.

But, I think Machorot posted this not necessarily as if something is going to change in 2013. But rather using that symbolic date to want the world to focus on our cause, our history and to see what we have endured, to get world attention on the problems Macedonians have suffered. And that I do think is a good thing.

No, we, at least me and other realistic Macedonians in the Republic itself know that nothing is going to change in 2013.

But, I think Machorot posted this not necessarily as if something is going to change in 2013. But rather using that symbolic date to want the world to focus on our cause, our history and to see what we have endured, to get world attention on the problems Macedonians have suffered. And that I do think is a good thing.
