They say that you only need to eat a little over a quarter of a cup of uncooked sunflower seeds a day to meet prescribed minimum daily intake requirements; either that or around 11 cups of fresh spinach. 2 tablespoons of wheat germ will provide around 20% of this requirement and wheat germ has less fat than sunflower seeds, so I think the whole food diversification thing bears some weight here.

That's where a good quality homemade muesli comes in...rolled oats, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and a few varieties of nuts such as almonds and walnuts...add some LSA and psyllium husk and you've covered most bases

In Addition Add:

1/3 Cup of Cranberries

1 cup of Blueberries

1 mug full of Dragon's Well Green Tea steeped for at least 5 minutes

2 Tablespoons of Black Pepper

Mix it all together and just deal with it.

Wait a minute. Instead of pouring the green tea into the cereal you could just drink it right out of the mug! Nah, too complicated.

The cranberries increase plasma antioxidant capacity and pipperine increases the body's ability to absorb antioxidants like Vitamin E and EGCG in the first place. Blueberries apparently keep people from going insane and other useful things.

New research helps unlock cancer riddle

THE Australian Macedonian Medical Society is funding a research project for the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation into the most common cancers that affect Macedonians living here.

The project will be held at St George Hospital's Cancer Care Centre next year and will be the first of its kind in Australia.

It was the brainchild of the medical society's president Zoran Becvarovski — an ear, nose and throat specialist at St George Private Hospital and a St George Hospital Medical Staff Council member.

Dr Becvarovski said the aim of the 2014 Macedonian Community Cancer Research Award was to prevent cancer in future generations through increased awareness and prevention.

"What we've done through the Cancer Care Centre is an analysis over the past five years of the most common cancers that affect the Macedonian community," Dr Becvarovski said.

"Cancers that are most common are lung, colon, ovarian and breast, as in other communities.

"There's a huge tobacco industry in Macedonia and many of the communities make their money from the tobacco industry.

"In terms of bowel, it's dietary [linked]. There's low fibre, high salt and they are big red meat eaters."

Dr Becvarovski said there was anxiety surrounding the diagnosis of cancer within the Australian Macedonian community. However, there was also the realisation that modern medicine and surgery had significantly improved survival rates.

"There's also a trend now to prevention, whereas 20 years ago this wasn't so much of a focus," he said.

"What's driven the change in perception is education from the Australian media and living in a country such as ours that has a lot of health promotion, which is reinforced by younger members of the family and societies like ours."

The Australian Macedonian Medical Society, established in 2009, has more than 50 members and raised $16,000 for the project at a recent charity golf day.

Macedonia does produce tobacco but I am not sure how big it is now. It is safe to say that cigarette smoking is high in Macedonia.

I've heard everything's better in Macedonia. Still can't work out why its a basketcase over there though...? The two facts just don't seem to gel.

i read an article saying pretty soon we will get a scanner similar to star trek which dr mcoy used.It detects from a distance heart beat,oxygen levels,bloodpressureetc it will be available for about $200 dollars.

i have studied psychology a lot of diseases like cancer etc can happen if you are totally depressed other factors.I learned that a lot of the diseases are psychosematic.These are self willed.

На територијата на Република Македонија постојат богатства кои ги нема ниту во една друга земја.

alsir.jpg-240Алшар е рудник на планината Кожуф во кој за првпат е откриен талиумовиот минерал лорандит. Денешното име на рудникот е кратенка од првите букви на имињата на луѓето што управувале со него во првата половина на 20 век: Алатини, француско банкарско семејство и Шарто, рударскиот инженер.

Во 1986 година, тогашната југословенска власт го почнала проектот „Лорекс“, во кој биле вклучени десетина научни институции од Словенија, Хрватска и Македонија. По распадот на СФРЈ, сите активности околу рудникот се запрени.

Алшар е единственото наоѓалиште на талиум во светот. Tалиумот е цврст сив метал и е токсичен. Употребуван е во електронската индустрија и за изработка на стакло. Исто така е употребуван и во отров за глувци и инсектициди. Лорандит или талиумов арсеничен сулфат (TlAsS2) е минерал и за првпат е пронајден во Алшар. Крстен е по унгарскиот научник Лоранд. Лорандиот е редок минерал со кој се смета дека би можело да се дојде до бесплатна енергија.

Се смета дека го има само во Македонија а можеби и во Шри Ланка.Во 1978 е одржана тајна седница на владата на СФРЈ на која се разговара за тоа дали рудикот Алшар да и се препушти на НАСА за да врши истражувања која наводно би го користела лорандитот за вселенески истражувања.

a2.jpg-500Во македонскиот рудник Алшар на Кожуф има и лорандит, минерал на талиумот, кој служи за да се детектира, да се лоцира неутринот, кој пак има директно потекло од Сонцето и единствено на планетата го има тука. Талиумот во Алшар, а со тоа и неутринот, по своето количество е светски, планетарен раритет. Ако се успее да се одвои неутринот од талиумот, нашата планетарна наука ќе ги разбере процесите со чија помош се генерира енергијата на Сонцето.

Рудникот Алшар се наоѓа триста метри од малото село Мајден, на во длабочината на Кожуф, во Општина Конопиште. Во неговата внатрешност се влегува низ осум широки отвори во земјата.

Во него, над пет илјади години се копа злато, талиум, кристали на лорандитот, антимон кој служи за легирање на тешкото оружје и други минерали што ги има само во овој рудник. Два од осумте отвори на јамите од подземните копалишта се долги шест илјади метри со калдрма, денес многу оштетена.

Познати светски геолози овој рудник го нарекуваат најчувана тајна на нашата планета. Некои него го вреднуваат и како најголема тајна на човештвото, бидејќи во неговата утроба, наводно, се криела тајната на постанокот на космосот и на Сончевиот систем!

Лево, на двесте метри од Алшар има еден вечно зелен рид на кој не смее да стапне ниту човекова нога ниту преживари. Во земјата на ридот има талиум, отров многу поопасен и од арсенот (го има во помали количества), од кој, ако се внесе во организмот го соборува секој крупен добиток што се напасува таму.

Уште полево од Алшар и од ридот, се наоѓаат извори со топла вода, а наспроти нив, на крајот на селото Мајден, селаните експлоатираат некаков бел минерал со кого ги перат алиштата, ги мијат садовите и ги чистат сите простории во своите домови. Овој природен правкаст минерал го има во неограничени количества. Волшебниот маѓепсан терен околу Алшар, познат меѓу староседелците како Црвена Долина, е вистинска енигма за научниците.
