I wonder, what will happen to those Macedonians who are born after 1995 and grew up with the ventilator and were brainwashed to think that it is the true Macedonian flag? They're going to think we are wrong for changing the current state flag!

Sad news for all basketball fans,the backbone of our triumphal national squad from Lithuania is now gone.After the retirement from the national team by center Todor Gecevski,Vlado Ilievski also stated that he leaves aside the Macedonian jersey out of personal reasons (same reasons he said led to breaking off his agreement with his current club).And also the national traitor (but nevertheless great contributor on the scoreboard) Pero Antic followed as well,saying he now has another kid and wants to spend more time with his family.And all of this happened within 72 hours.So it's up to McCaleb to hold our sorry asses off the ground in the next qualifiers.A damn pitty,it was such a promising team...

Rumours are that he also won't be back now that he has a new club in Turkey and considering he will be playing with a Macedonian youth team now.

„Со ова писмо, ние силно протестираме, за употребата на името Македонија од страна на вашата федерација за земјата на Скопје. Согласно со релевантни историски докази, кои постојат повеќе од 3.000 години, Македонија е една и единствено грчка“, пишува во кусото писмо од Златна зора до меѓународната кошаркарска федерација.

Од каде Златнозрците ја добија оваа идеја е целосно нејасно, дописот е со датум 3 октомври, и не е поврзано со некој натпревар на македонската репрезентација или пак настап на меѓународен собир. Најверојатно се сетиле на пишувањата на грчките медиуми и блогери, за време на квалификацискиот турнир за Олимписките игри, кога имаше коментари зошто меѓународната федерација го користи уставното име за Македонија, а не референцата ФИРОМ.

Maybe if our basketball experts look closely Todor,Vlado and Pero could be replaced with guys equally as good.This weekend two of our teams that started playing in the balkan league beat their opponents,big names in basketball (OKK Belgrade and Croatia's Mornar) thus just added to the euphoria created by the international successes of Metalurg,Vardar Pro,MZT Skopje and even our national football team.Nice to see Macedonian clubs becoming big factors in their branch of sport,reminds me of the days when Kometal Gorce Petrov reached the Women's European Champions League final three times and winning the title CHAMPION OF EUROPE in one of those occasions.Way to go boys and girls

After it was announced that Pero Antic will join Bo McCalleb in the upcoming Eurobasket 2013 in Slovenia,the media report that veteran center Todor Gecevski (who missed the key games in Lithuania due to arm injury) will come back in the national team for one last big tournament.That means that only Vlado Ilievski will be missing from the original glorious generation of 2011 that was 4th best European basketball superpower.People from the Macedonian Basketball Federation say that they'll have another talk with Ilievski about a possible return in the national jersey.That would be awesome,since we play in Slovenia and therefore we'll have a strong audience support,something we lacked in Lithuania.meanwhile here's the schedule for our boys for the group phase of Euro 2013 Slovenia:
