Something major has changed with TVSonce ever since George made the POOR choice to support the UMD and the Greek "Ventilator"- A huge error and a dead end. Could, the Bitove family and Macedonia2025 be next to feel the mighty curse of the UMD aka Macedonian Human Rights Violators?

If Greeks thinks that their claims of Anatolia&Istanbul is valid because of eastern Roman empire than why would Italian invasion of Greece would be absurd? Italians just wanted to get what they belonged to them during Roman empire.

I believe both claims are absurd but if Istanbul is Greek than Greece very well might be a Roman province. As for the Greek collaborators, they were just bowing to their former Roman masters, thats it.

They are contradicting themselves, as usual. On the one hand they are asking Nimitz to cease the negotiations:

On the other, they talk about Macedonia's 'commitment' to participate in the negotiations and complain about Greece rejecting many proposals (so what? none of those proposals were acceptable to Macedonians) and putting a veto on Macedonia's entry in NATO and the EU as 'fyrom':

It's typical of the UMD, they're trying to present this image of patriotism while at the same time using past capitulations of Macedonian governments as indications of our 'commitment' to negotiations, when in actual fact it is a 'commitment' to dispose of our historical identity. Their pro-Macedonian government and pro-USA stance will never allow them to be truly in the service of the Macedonian people, they will remain the lapdogs for foreign and internal detractors, as they have done thus far.

April 15, 2011 – New York, NY – The United Macedonian Diaspora (“UMD”) met yesterday with the United Nations (“UN”) Special Envoy, Mediator Matthew Nimetz, in New York. During the meeting UMD stressed the unprecedented resolution asking the Republic of Macedonia to negotiate over its official name. These imposed “name negotiations” have de facto deprived the basic right of self-identification from the millions of Macedonians worldwide, and the UMD delegation used the opportunity to call once again for their immediate termination.

UMD once again underscored that the “name negotiations” between Macedonia and Greece are merely used as a smoke screen to veil the state-sponsored human rights violations against ethnic Macedonians living in Greece.

I don't agree with this, though that claim is also one of many other reasons!

Furthermore, while Macedonia has demonstrated its commitment to partake in these mediations, Greece on the other hand, has continued to decline many proposals that have been put forward, and has been vetoing Macedonia’s membership in Euro-Atlantic organizations, such as NATO and the EU.

Basically, the way I read the above statement, the UMD and Co are trying to pressure HellASS into accepting the current "reasonable" (in their treasonous eyes!) propositions accepted or proposed by the VASSALS in Skopje, e.g. Rep. of Macedonia (Skopje) for international use without changing the Constitution (or "Constitutional Name" for domestic use) to reflect the new international name. The "call to end the name negotiations" by UMD and accomplices, in my view, should be seen for what it is - VASSAL POLITICAL POSTURING against Greek desire for FINAL DECONSTRUCTION via one name for all use (erga omnes) demand.

Unsurprisingly, the ongoing UN-mediated agenda faces public criticism because Greece’s official state-sponsored position allegedly violated Article 11 of the United Nations Interim Accord, and is presently at issue in litigation before the International Court of Justice at The Hague.

Basically giving the nod of approval to the treasonous and suicidal ICJ case.

The delegation led by UMD President Metodija A. Koloski consisted of George Atanasoski, President of the Macedonian Alliance and the largest Diaspora investor in Macedonia, civil rights attorney and one of UMD’s founders Steve Gligorov, producer of New York’s Macedonian Radio Hour, Vladimir Naumovski, and former Macedonian Minister of Foreign Investment (2006-2008) and current UMD Advisory Council member, Gligor Tashkovich.

My identification of those in the photo, starting from left to right, is as follows: Gligor Tashkovich, Steve Gligorov, Nimitz, George Atanasoski, Vladimir Naumovski and Meto Koloski.

From what I can see here, "Makedonska Alijansa" and George Atanasoski have now (or earlier) joined the list of former "patriots" that have bitten the dust and are now part of the cheering squad for the Ramkovist VASSALS running the show in Skopje!

What is happening with TV Sonce, George Atanasoski and "Makedonska Alijansa"? The Tv YouTube portal appears to be no more than a relay station for pro dpmne media (MTV) these days and Geore Atanasoski is out lobbying with the UMD and Tashkovic in the USA.

Do you think there would be protests and mass demonstrations if the name was actually changed in such a way?

I'd love to think that would be the case. After all, almost 90% of the ethnic Macedonian population have consistently said in all polls that they disapprove of any name change. But in a country where all the media and most of the political elite are pro-change it's hard to say.
