I don't know any more than you do, it's all on Wikipedia / online. : ) They seem to originate from Moscopole but so do the Krusevo Vlachs - all of them.

The Moscopole claim of descent of many Vlach communities has assumed mythical and legendary proportions nowadays.

We’re not ungrateful. Thessaloniki also celebrates Ataturk's achievements with a monument on Pontic Genocide.

The organization was founded in Pisoderi (a Vlach village), located 17 km west of Lerin/Florina.

The leading founders of this organization were all Vlachophones: Anastasios Piheon from Ohrid, Nikolaos Filipidis from Malovishte, Ioannis Argiropoulos (born in Bogatsko, village near Kostur), I. Boutaris, etc.

Many members of this organization were Macedonians as well, such as Dame Kusev from Prilep and others from the same town.

This is just how he sounds (you can hardly understand what he's saying). Yes, he has fully recovered, and as many former alcoholics he doesn't drink a drop.

I understood it as he doesn't give a shit about the squabbles amongst Greeks and Turks regarding the past. He is trying to come across as a progressive, a reformer. What is wrong with that?
