I was just made aware of this thread on Maknews:

I can assure you that you were not banned from this forum. Your rant over at Maknews is disappointing. In fact, it appears as though you are quite unstable in this regard. You are still not banned, but I will ask that you no longer make NEW threads on this forum. You are welcome to participate in discussions, but given your sentiments conveyed at Maknews, I find it difficult to be fully supportive of you here.

It was a strange attack over at Maknews, the guy really seemed to lose his marbles, over nothing...the disappointing thing was the amount of people who welcomed this guy onto this forum for him to just go berserk like that was very odd to say the least...

I think a couple of our regulars deserve a personal apology for his moment of madness...

Perhaps the bloke is here for another purpose altogether, I encourage the moderators to watch this guy carefully...

I would hate to see this forum go down the road of the once credible Maknews site.

MakedonskaKafana I think you need to sit down at a kafana and have a Mastika or three to put the Makedonska back into you then a few coffees in case its caffeine withdrawal that made you incapable to realise how temperamental computers can be and to try combination of different things before assuming anything against you.

I too had the problem of not getting the MTO.org website with some error message. My first thought was they are having computer problems and NOT the must hate me and I’m banned. Your kind of thinking says more about you than the MTO.

Realising web pages link from one to the other but subsequent parts might work I immediately tried to logto http://www.macedoniantruth.org/forum and it worked. I could still do stuff and didn’t give it another thought as I knew sooner or later one of the administrators would try to login and discover the error. The funny part out of this is while I was logging to http://www.macedoniantruth.org/forum directly to read stuff I noticed others there and some were posting which tells me im not the only one to have noticed computers are sometimes temperamental.

Right about now you must be using Hugh Grants line f f f-ity f.

Stop bitching you big sook. Your dumb assumption that you were banned and subsequent bitchfest at MakNews only betrayed you seem to have deeper issues between you and some MTO members.

Would it shock anyone if he used more then one username? It's people like him that hurt the Macedonian cause more then any one organization.

Sorry MTO, it seems his main whinge is against me and my "love" for his esteemed TATAROMAN "MPO", which I pointed out in my welcome to him. :-)

I apologise for taking mental snapshots of what I consider ideologically suspect Macedonians and then posting my views on those flaws here.

Lastly, in my view, MK is a COMPULSIVE SPAMMER, which should be obvious even to "Blind Freddy".

Risto, if the site was down it would not say "down just for you" After, I seen that I was very upset because it happened SECONDS after my last reply.

When a site is really down it says "it's not just you"

RTG, please go back to the time of that MPO reply (moments later) and check to be sure no one placed a temp block please. Thanks

Makedonska_Kafana, you really have no idea how sites like that work to check if a site works or not, don't you? It checks if a server is DOWN (not responding), but does not check if there is an error with the site that is preventing the correct content from displaying. You took a screenshot yourself of the Macedonian Truth website, this one:

That in itself, if you have any understanding of these things, that the server/network was not down (which is what the 'down for you' site checks), but rather the site was down because of a glitch/bug. That screenshot above, is the default landing page from the Macedonain Truth's hosting company.

Don't give me a 'why are you guessing' response either. This is in fact an area I am quite qualified to speak on.

The website/forum itself can be down (i.e. the forum software could crash - this could be from many things, including an update to the server-settings by the hosting company) without the actual server being down (which is the only thing that site 'downforeveryone...' can check).

It could even be a problem with the DNS server, so the domain might not resolve for many people like you, me, (or many ISP's) around the world, yet still resolve for many others. That happened a couple of years ago with mozilla.org which affected millions of people, yet millions of others could still access it. Only then is a site like 'downforeveryoneorjustme.com' useful, but it is not useful for checking if a website itself has crashed (due to bugs / software crashes / server-settings that may have brought the site down). I'm not sure if you've understand the difference between the server and the site.
