    yes, ohrid is tolerable in spring time or autumn when there are no tourists, but summer time = hell.

      does anyone know that Macedonia is cheaper than other euro nations.As an alternative to other countries it is value for money.

        It used to be, George.

        But the prices started going crazy and it really is no wonder that this year was Ohrid's worst in 40 years - with viza free travel to all of Europe, the Macedonians ended up going to Spain, etc for the same price as they would in Ohrid.
