Anyway, I was explaining to a Sydneysider how Melbourne has all these sporting and cultural events, the casino, the museums, theaters and art galleries, the many restaurant precincts as well as our cafe and bar culture. To this he replied: "You have all this because there's nothing else to do in Melbourne."

Bij, Fair enough if you dont drink beer, i guess alot of the ladies dont like beer. I was surprised too, how can a Macedonian Restourant not have Macedonian Wine?

I think you missed the point of what I was trying to say with the bira/pivo thing.

If i was italian, maybe i'd drink birra, but i'm a nasha so i drink pivo, usually in a half litre bottle lol

and also, i'm not sure where reservoir is but i generally don't leave the CBD when i'm in melbourne as that's where I work/live. back on sunday, hopefully the weather is warmer this time it has been way too cold
