If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution. John Adams

I never realised how much of a global cultural influence we have...maybe we are doing something right after all...?

I think too much of our cultural treasure is taken for granted by us.
Secondly, our geographical region is occupied by some of histories greatest cultural thieves that claim much of what is ours as theirs.

Talk to anyone knowledgable and trained in this field and they will readily point out the uniqueness, richness and diversity of our music and dances.

It's good that they sing our songs once -- it's better that they keep on doing them. I think there is an emotional value in our folk music that very few peoples can rival. In this video, they even dance.

Macedonia and Vermont have this strange connection...probably because I lived there

I think that is terrific. I always enjoy showing our culture to the world and think every opportunity to share our culture should be seized.

In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.
