    Athenian boxer

    Saw a photo of an Aussie boxer with what it seems athenian heritage in todays Herald Sun, 17-05-10, pg65. What surprised me was the tattoo of our sun on his back and the fact he refers to himself as Micheal 'The Great' katsidis. Pretty amusing for me, seems he has received a bit too many punches to the the head. Down side for us is that where ever he travels he obviously would claim the symbol on his back and also Alexdander The Great belong to athens. Also this is probably the only athenian i know with this tattoo apart from that bankrupt tennis player philopusis that has an Alexander tattoo.

    I bet everything I have, that he is getting paid by the Greeks to have that symbol displayed on his back…
    Funny that another Famous Greek Mark Philippoussis has a tattoo of Alexander the Great…
    Yet you wouldn't see any other Greek tattoo the Macedonian Symbol or Hero on them..
    The Macedonians originates it, the Bulgarians imitate it and the Greeks exploit it!

      i dont think the athenians will be paying many more people after the amount of money they are in debt. always brings a smile to my face when i remind myself of our neighbours financial state

                That poor Athenian wasted a lot of ink cause Athens had nothing to do with Macedonia pre 1913.

                    If he is from Athens, then he's a complete idiot, as the legacy of ancient Macedonia in that city is one of occupation and garrisons, it's as stupid as a Palestinian getting a tattoo of the star of David.
