I believe Trajkovski was genuinely spooked by what our special forces had done in Arachinovo or were about to unleash...what followed next was totally out of left field. For NATO to evacuate that number of insurgents in those circumstances points to something very big...I hope that one day the true and full story of that day is uncovered and exposed.
The Battle of Arachinovo has to be a dark hole in our history, Boris Trajkovski is a traitor and a coward and he bowed down to pressure. He was a weak leader, its sad that he died and all but im glad he is not our President anymore.
Blagojche, Thats exactly what happened, they were instructed not to fire this happened in Radusha too. Our forces were told to constantly evacuate when they had the enemy forces on target, we can only see it now after having people like Ljube and Boris in charge it hurt us badly.
I wasn't even on the internet back in 2001 you mochko, how old are you? Where were you?
Do you have any reference to these 'volunteers' aside from this one picture in the youtube clip, which is blurry and cannot be properly identified? If they were there, what did we accomplish with their help? Of what value exactly was their assistance?
The author of the book Oleg Valeckij was born in the Ukraine, then USSR in 1968. He fought in the Yugoslav Wars in Bosnia in 1993-1995 as a member of the Bosnian Serb Army, in Kosovo in 1999 as a member of the Yugoslav Army, and in 2001 in Macedonia as a member of the Macedonian Army. He was wounded four times. He now resides in the Serbian part of Sarajevo in the Bosnian Serb Republic.
Another group of Russians waged war on the outskirts of Sarajevo in 1993-1994. The unit was commanded by Alexander Shkrabov, who died in June of 1994. In the spring of 1999, Russians faught in Kosovo.
Several Russians also faught during the autumn of 2001 in Macedonia. Volunteers created their own subculture with Russian-Serbian slang and a code of honor. The code did not allow to kill women and prisoners. No Russian military man has derived any profit from those wars.
Russian volunteers did not intend to become rich as a result of the war Commissioner of the Hague International Tribunal Vanessa Le Roa has recently ...
Their were barely any volunteers from Russia, or any other country for that matter. If their even was the number of volunteers would of been so low and insignificant that it wouldn't of made a difference. It was mainly Macedonians fighting.
Out of the Tigers and Wolves i personally like the Rangers.

Ok fair enough, you have shown me one single Ukrainian that volunteered to fight for macedonia.
In regards to the Russians, that article makes things pretty vague - notice how it gives names and numbers about russians fighting in bosnia and kosovo and then all of a sudden it just adds this little part about macedonia. It provides no numbers names or where they battled at. Seems like the author just threw that little fact in just to keep the "slavic-brotherhood" feeling nice and warm.
Plus, pravda is not a very credibe source, i have read articles about how Russian navy was going attack the US navy in Iraq and afghanistan on that website, i even managed to see this piece of work on the front page of pravda:
"Aliens Land in Russia"
Aliens Land in RussiaResidents of the city of Perm, in Russia’s Ural region, say that they could see a strange object in the sky. The object, eyewitnesses s...
How can you take such toilet journalism seriously?
So besides finding one very noble Ukrainian and a ambigious possible "group of russians" who may have thought in macedonia, do you have anything else?
More importantly what about all of the supposed serbs, bulgarian slavs and "greeks" that you said thought for macedonia?
I just find it strange that when i go to google and type in "Russian volunteers in macedonia" i cant find anything except for this thread, yet when i type in "greek(or Russian) volunteers fighting in bosnia" i get numerous pages and detailed photos like these:
Greece from memory donated to us Huey helicopters and Leonidas APCs.
They where always going to support us against the albanians, as they described us, we are their 'buffer'.
I also heard reports of serbs volunteering to fight... if they are true I am unsure.
Well if they did donate something to us im sure the deal was very one sided and we ended up being screwed over. Traijkovski would be dumbe enough to accept im sure.
I highly doubt that the "greeks" would be concerned if western macedonia joined albania. The "greeks" dont care that the bulgarian slavs are worming their way in macedonia and aegean macedonia and brainwashing the people into thinking they are "bulgarians". The "greeks" even tow the bulgarian slav line that we are "bulgarians". Even in recent years bulgaria and grease have joined forces against macedonia and support each others racist policies against macedonia.
So, i dont see how a greater albania that involves north west macedonia scares grease since they seem to support a even bigger "greater bulgaria" that includes more of republic of macedonia and also a stronger influence in aegean macedonia.
Plus the shiptar population in grease are all brainwashed grkomans, the "greeks" were superb and hellenizing their minorities with the magical power of the church. If only we could have done that then we would not have any problems with our bastard shiptar and bulgarian slav minorities.
