When you have time, can you start a new thread with all the Goce Delcev quotes that you have?

There is no such resource anywhere online with the great quotes from Macedonian revolutionaries and it would be great to have all those quotes compiled together.

An excellent suggestion. I look forward to seeing it.

Adding an English translation to it would be good. I know Google translator doesn't like Latinica much at all. Is there another program that would make light work of translating the text?

From the village of P’pezhani, Tashko Popov, Dimitar Popov-Skenderov and Todor Trpenov were beaten and sentenced to 12 years prison. Pavle Mevchev and Atanas Popov from Vrbeni and Boreshnica joined them in early 1927, they were soon after transferred to Kozhani and executed. As they were leaving Lerin they were heard to shout "With our death, Macedonia will not be lost. Our blood will run, but other Macedonians will rise from it"

It might be of some significance to note here that Delchev was sold out, ambushed and died fighting before the Ilinden Uprising and before most of the other greats of his time, some of whom, including Gruev and other VMRO Central Committee members, were 'merely' imprisoned before and during the Uprising.

Google translator is terrible. Light work = poor translations.

Start the thread, post the quotations, and zdravje, we'll translate them manually.

This New York Times article, which I found on Wikipedia, might be of some interest in the context of the topic:

Thanks Aleksandrov, looking forward to this new thread concerning Delcev, long overdue on our part.
