The "Slavic(ism)" stem from the Pan-Slavist idea that was promoted from Tsarist Russia in the 18-19th century.

I do not quite understand your question John, do you refer to "then and later on" as 18th-19th century and post?
If so there was not an entity called Yugoslavia in the 18th-19th century.

              Please clarify.

Yes but to my understanding of it, it was all promoted by Tsarist Russia.
I could be wrong but this is what I have come to learn during my research into the history concerning us Macedonians.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge Russia was the one behind everyhting. Serbia was her pawn in the region.

Yes ofc. Whole thing was the expansionism ideas of Russians. It started to be major factor in Balkans after Russo-Turkish War of 1877–1878...

Pan-Slavism and Communism go hand in hand with Russia the key exporter of it, and then Tito and his Serbian band promoting it.

There are still a plenty of that kind in Macedonia in fact we read an article by one in Balkantravellers

I have asked many Greek stooge just what is a Slav in fact I have never meet one, never a clear anwser

its a family of languages akin to latin speaking countries.

the main difference is that nobody claims that mexcians, portugese, brazilians, puetro ricans, romanians are the same ethnicity, nor do they call them latin-mexican, latin-Romanian etc

Ok. What do you say then? Because to me it sounds like you concede to racists who deny your ethnic heritage.

I find it hard to believe that you aren't aware of what the term 'Slavic' represents.

It was originally promoted by Tsarist Russia however the Serbians later latched on the idea because to many people it legitimised their desire to expand from Slovenia to Macedonia.
