Seriously though, I am just a bit old fashioned..... :lol
Spartan you are still single then and living at home with mum?

        Quote from Mikail:
"On a recent international flight, a plane passes through a severe
        storm.

The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one
        wing is struck by lightning.

One woman in particular loses it & becomes extremely hysterical.
Screaming, she stands up in the front of the plane. "I'm too young
        to die," she wails.

Then she yells, "Well, if I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable!...

...Is there ANYONE on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?"

For a moment there is silence. Everyone has forgotten their own peril.

They all stare, riveted, at the desperate woman in the front of the plane.

Then a Macedonian man named Dragi stands up in the rear of the plane.
He is gorgeous, well built, with silver hair and blue eyes.

He starts to walk slowly up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt... one button at a time!

        .......No one moves.
        .......He removes his shirt.
        .......Muscles ripple across his chest.
        .......She gasps...
        .......He whispers....

"Iron this, and get me something to eat...."

I thought a little humour might help this thread, I copied it from the macedonian humour thread.
Spartan, I thought you in particular would like this one!

Most macedonian blokes i have met in Australia are mummy's boys. They get spoiled pretty bad from their parents and get everthing given to them on a silver platter. I remember in high school the macedonian lads would get like really expesnive cars as gifts for just finishing high school lol. Thats why it seems like most aussie "maco's" dont go very far in life because they know they will inherrant the familiy house and funds when the olds pass away.
I think its some strange culture that has developed in Australia in the last 10-20 years or so. Its part of a culture where the "maco's" compete with each other in who's got the bigger car, house etc

The macedonian males in macedonia arent mummy's boys, but i can sort of see this slowly changing due to the collapse of yugoslavia and lack of military service, and that they look at australia and the australian "macos" as the "great dream" and try emulate this lifestyle.

But to be fair, and truthfully honest, i think macedonian women (30 and under) in australia are the more worse then australian macedonian males. Most are little "maco princessess" that get so spoiled and have this high and mighty attitude. Most of them have a morbid facination with serbian turbo folk and serbian people as a whole.

serbian turbo folk is only popular with the children of recent macedonians immigrants to australia.

in my family circles nobody even knows what turbo folk is, please bbs dont confuse a part of the macedonian community with all of it.

All of these generalisations are now becoming quite comical. I didn't see any 'mummy's boys' last wednesday when almost a dozen of MTO's finest gathered to dine like kings
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

I think Macedonian men are very spoilt, they are mummys boys and some even wrose. My brother is so spoilt yuk. My mum irons his clothes, washes his clothes, puts food on the table for him, clears the table etc. My husband's mum did the same for my husband, yuk. Anyways my brother is visiting me at the moment and guess what, he learned how to use the hoover, woohoo. And my husband learned how to wash a plate or two. In the end tho it's to much hard work trying to explain why they should do 'zenski' raboti po kuka so I end up doing just doing everything. I will not raise my children that way.

With a few exceptions i think the Macedonian Men are generally pretty good, as long as they are down to earth, easy going, well mannered and good domakini who look after their families they tend to do very well. The key thing is for the males is proper vospituvanje and ponashanje on how to treat those around them and their closest ones and i see nothing wrong in them respecting their parents and relatives.

МАКЕДОНИЈА во срце те носиме.

This whole debate can extend to Macedonian Women and Men the second Generation Macedonians whom have had a start in life with Mum and Dad buying their House, a car, telling the kids you gotta get married waiting for grand kids then continuing to help out the married couple by paying the electricity bill or just still mothering their adult off spring.

The is the Macedonian way and it isn’t flattering I have everything as my brother does too from our own achievements and hard work.

Stuff men not doing lady’s work there is a bigger issue here Macedonians nurtured too much by their parents.
