Macedonia existed first. It is not a new name nor is anyone self-describing as Scandinavian without referring to their real nation. To equate Scandinavia with Macedonia is stupid.

Where is Finland again? Was this guy making his argument up as he was talking?

When Yoda started speaking at around 5:59, Gruevski was reluctant to bring forward his solution. What an idiot. He had a forum to stand up and be noted .... he avoided the hard question. I will give you 15 minutes ... Oh no ... it will take at least 20 minutes .... shoot me.

I can do stupid arguments too: Imagine Macedonia was Pandora, and Macedonians were Pandorans, and that living space/wheat is unobtanium, and that the Greeks are a crippled guy that pretends to be Macedonian, I mean Pandoran... f@#k.


What I also see here is the inexperience of the PM in diplomacy and international politics. He looked uncomfortable and under pressure. Granted that English isn't his first language, but when a stupid argument is presented to you, it is an excellent opportunity to go on the offensive and promote your cause.

Grujo blew it up for sure, but the argument of comparison was the highlight of the forum.

It's like comparing the name BALKAN with Macedonian name.

In my opinion Grujo came here with ready agenda what to say and he is not able improvise and use the knife of the poor Grk who delivered it to his hand. It was so easy just to cut his balls in 10 min counter arguments, but that's the (in)capability of our polititians.

I dont think that Nikola Gruevski should get in a slanging match with any Greek Journalist, we have bigger fish to fry and we shouldnt be exposing ourselves to the Greeks especially now that there is a law suit filed at the ICJ.

Its just not worth giving the Greeks a weapon to use against us.

If he had the balls, he would say it in few sentences:

1. The name issue is bilateral issue, which was imposed by the Greeks with a secret agenda, to destroy the Macedonian identity and keep the Macedonian Minority in Greece and it's crimes against it in darkness.
2. The Macedonian people have the right to call them selfs and their language Macedonian as it is guarateed under UN law (Human Rights).
3. Macedonia is a wider region, but the title "Republic" as well the altering of the constitution to guarantee borders are enough to distinguish the State form the other parts of the "wider" region.
4. Greeks have own designation, Greeks, and just because they want a additiona geographical addition, that does not really changes something to their Identity. Given that fact it does not means that the Macedonian people should give their God given right to call them Macedonians.

After that fiering up to them, they should decide to discuss it or put it under the carpet.

If discussion should be started, keep repeating the UN Human rights of self identification, so that they either deny it and dispose their hipocricy or just shut the fuck up.
