I dunno with these privatnici. Why not have a premiere in Wollongong or Sydney, that's where the Macedonian Independence fight started?

Why not Adelaide?? We have good people like Risto the Great from there and Julie, i dont see a reason why it cant be hosted there, we got some good people in South Australia.

From what I could find out, it seems there will be a travelling tour of Australia's major cities, to screen A Name is a Name. I'm not sure who is organising it though.

This is what I could find, no address or time just yet:

“Why is it, that in Europe, in the 21st century, a nation still struggles to have its name recognized?
Why is it that the future and prosperity of this sometime troubled corner of Europe is held hostage because of its name?
How in this day and age can language, a simple act of naming still evoke hatred?
I have come to the Republic of Macedonia to try to find answers….”
        The Traveller

        …a name is a name

How the fuck do you know Kasha! Port Boys are in the few. I was recently at Millys funeral. Bog da ja prosti. She was a Port girl, and if you are not from Port you will never understand. And to you pertenders from Melbourne don't even bother you pichki.

That's the problem with all the maco's around Australia, they have only recently learnt to be patriots. Us Port boys have been around since the 60's and yes Kashata is a part of those patrioti

Actually Mileva was a wonderful Macedonian chick who happened to grow up in Port Kembla. That's the problem with all you other pichki. You don't understand. And gospodine Veli Riste, nah Im not talking tough, ti kazva vistina. That's if u understand nasi, or if you have ever lived in the poverty line. I bet you haven't! so popoleka.

Mileva's death just showed that there is a fine line in life. there's no difference if your in prison.

Does it really bother you that much that your town was not chosen to have the initial viewing?

Am I too young to understand what this whole thread is all about? Because it's way over my head.

I thought it was about the movie screenings? We (Macedonian Film Festival) emailed Jason Miko (Producer) and I think it is his organisations (With Macedonia Organisation) that will be screening the movie throughout Australia in Feb/March.

The Macedonian Film Festival for 2010 also wants to screen this movie in October (which is when we are planning to hold the film festival)

I would love to Bale, however it runs along the same old prison lines. Did u know she was married to a Greek. Fuck heaven forbid, and her best man was in prison...i taka natamu. So Bale tell me something about your tragic story?

Yas se razbervam po nashe, but have no idea what Mileva has to do with an Adelaide filming of a Macedonian movie and how Macedonians in Melbourne are pitchki.

I am yet to understand your concerns but have no problem with a Macedonian film in Adelaide.
