Foreign Armed Bands in Macedonia

Interesting how the church of one of those villages mentioned wasn't with the Patriarchate or the Exarchate and was described as simply Macedonian. I wonder how many other similar cases there are of this?

Those who came from asia minor were greeks. There were greeks in asia minor:

1) from the ancient greeks colonys
2) after Alexander the great took over minor asia
3) in the time of the byzantine empire

i want to say, because my grandfather was from minor asia, that the ones who came after the destruction of smyrne, in macedonia and athens werent turkish orthodox but greeks.

But my grandfather and all those before him who have only ever known one homeland (Macedonia), don't have a right to call their country Macedonia? Comical.

By the way, most Christians from Asia Minor didn't know Greek when they landed in Europe during the 1920's. Just because your country likes to manipulate numbers and statistics (like it does with those relative to money) doesn't mean what you know now is the truth. You are a racist and you don't even know it. But thanks for your irrelevant opinion on how we should call our country. None of us agree with it because it is stupid. But I guess you would already know this unless you're completely stupid. I don't think you're stupid. I think your stupidity is deliberate. I also think you will bring no value to this forum and would find it completely insulting if a Macedonian came to a Greek forum and tried to dictate how Greece should call itself.

No Macedonian will compromise on their identity here. So I don't see how any constructive dialogue could be achieved between us, unless you're able to stop being racist and accept my homeland, people and language as Macedonian.
