In 1925, the Greek government published the "Abecedar" (in the Latin alphabet) in the Bitola-Lerin dialect by a specially appointed scientific committee composed of Georgios Sagiaxis (ethnographer, poet), Iosif Lazarou (philologist) and I. Papazahariou (philologist). All three of them were Vlachs, originally from Bitola, who moved to Salonika.

Lazarou and Papazahariou sound more Macedonian to me, Lazarou especially.
