Yes but in Greece they enforced the "Greek" identity and Greek language on every ethnic group. In North Macedonia, they are not enforcing the "Macedonian" identity or language on people, instead they are adopting a Yugoslav model where the country is made up of many different ethnic groups, each with their own identity and language, paving the way for federalization.
