Thank you Scots, a beautiful Pictish gesture from the Caledonians for the Macedonians.

A few of my closest co-workers are Scots, great people.
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

Yes, Scots are amazing people and like the Irish they truly understand how the Macedonians feel and can connect with us.

Don't get me started on the Scottish jokes! But I guess they are not as stingy as the general opinion goes. Well done Scots! Still, they'll lose the game so at least they will have the warm feeling of helping children

I don't know any scottish jokes, but what a good thing to do.

I can only wonder how this all came about, but my hats off to whoever organized it.

It raises the profile of Macedonians, and Scots and puts them all in a good light.

Pitlochry, Inverness, the Isle of Skye, ah memories ...

Outlawed tunes on outlawed pipes !

I have a thing for mountainous and wind swept places with a sad and troubled history. That puts Scotland, and of course, Ireland in a close second and third behind my beloved Macedonia.

And we showed them how it's done

They donated 15 000€ here for the childre, just to get ripped off almost everywhere, its disgraceful what some people here had done, specially the taxi drivers, waiters and the wanckers from the MFA, i work in the pub and i could see with my own eyes how our waiters ripped them off with prices....what a nice gesture from our side, specially from the MFA and the police.

That is a real shame about the ripping off.
But, ultimately, if the Scots felt like they had a good time and helped some kids .... then I am sure they did not feel too mistreated. Nevertheless, it will take generational change to bring Macedonia up to an even footing with other Western countries.

I am very interested at the tourist perspective of Macedonia. Particularly if they do not have a Macedonian poteklo.

I'm pleased to hear that I have allways thought of scots as a very sincere people who desrve their own individual identification. Some say there are a lot of similarities between the two peoples with Macedonia.
