On Delchev's sarcophagus you can read the following inscription: "We swear the future generations to bury these sacred bones in the capital of Independent Macedonia. August 1923 Illinden"

      From makedonche's link above

The 15 year old scandal resurfaced again in Athens, in which current and former Greek politicians admitted to paying large sums of money to journalists and News organizations to spread Anti Macedonian propaganda, though without ever releasing the names of the recepients of these money.

In Macedonia, different story. The Greek Government while paying their own journalists to spread propaganda and hatred against Macedonians living there at the same time (re)inventing history, Athens had also deposited large sums of money to Macedonian journalists and politicians to support Greece in the naming dispute.

Though this was evident since 1990, it went over the top after PM Gruevski took office. More than a dozen Macedonian journalists and several politicians support Athens' views and propagate immediate change of the country's name. In fact these people supports whatever Athens's views are.

      How good are these bribes?

Some of Macedonia's journalists (see list below) apart from supporting Athens, go in hysteria mode sending letters to EU organizations misinforming them of how terrible the Macedonian Government is to its people and neighbors!? Few journalists and organizations have been fined over 40,000 Euros each for deliberately printing false information after being challenged in Court by Government officials. The journalists paid the court punishment (on what salary?) and continued to misinform.

Athens keeps tabs on who received the $130 million of bribes in Greece to spread propaganda on how 'greek' Macedonia was, and this information is of "high national interest", therefore not available to the public despite challenges from Greek paper (Eleftherotypia). In Macedonia, journalists and Newspapers on Athens' payroll are not attempting to hide this fact. Some of them go as far to drive around in cars bearing Greek license plates!

The following list is of Macedonian journalists and newspapers whose direct deposit accounts are on a one way street to the Greek Government. The list is well known, and has been recently published by a Skopje based paper Vecer and TV Sitel.

Where does Greece have all this money available from? Paying 'Greeks' on average 1,500 drachmas ('award' went up each year) to report anyone who spoke Macedonian to a local police station since 1945. This kind of irresponsible spending eventually caught up to Athens..
The time has come to purge Macedonia of this filth.
Gruevski and Ivanov MUST do something about these traitors. Inaction will be a sign of collusion in my opinion.

They should be named and shamed, and this should serve as a lession to the leaders of Macedonia not to trust the Greeks. Once again it proves that the negoatitions are entirely illogical and unreasonable.

Couldn't agree more - you are either part of the problem or part of the solution, there are no grey areas to play with here!

I think this is a good start to naming and shaming, the strength of this forum is growing day by day - ignore it at your peril ( for any politicians out there reading this).

I totally agree. It may educate the traitors and everyone in Macedonia that there is nothing worse than selling your own country. We all know how the other countries treat traitors. In Macedonia they just slap them on the wrists.

Either slap them on the wrist or hand them the leadership of the country.

I must say, this is getting real good. From this despair, the Macedonians surely will wake from their slumber. We have had Greece spending probably half a billion dollars trying to defend what they have stolen from the Macedonians. Justice does not work, it would appear money almost does. Yet, the Greek impact has been spectacularly underwhelming.

We have politicians and journalists in Macedonia who have been EXPOSED at the most intimate level as traitors to the Macedonian nation.

It was only 6 months ago when Sekerinska was going to be delivering a speech at the UMD conference. She shied away (I hope) because the Diaspora had gotten wind of her duplicitous actions. How long will these people be afforded any respect in Macedonia?

How many times did the fear mongerers go on a rampage with a story and made it out to be that Macedonia was always dying in a desert with no water? Far too many times. This is going to be one of those can of worms that spills over everywhere

                          Exactly.
I hope the can of worms spills! We should be ready to kick it if the right squeals are not being made!

If they have the evidence to back their claim then the Macedonian media should bring the allegations of taking bribes from the Greeks to light by posting it all over the front pages.

I don't think they have any actual evidence to prove any of these allegations, except perhaps for the potential word and testimony of Kiro Gligorov against Ljubomir Frckovski (as Kiro Gligorov wrote in his memoir's about the bribery of Frckovski).

Though I suspect the Macedonian intelligence, run by Mijalkov, have some very lengthy dossiers and some long-term investigations going on into these exact same people and it is only a matter of time before these theories and allegations of bribery are proved and with solid evidence.
