Which brings us back to this topic - http://www.macedoniantruth.org/forum...ead.php?t=1587

I urge anyone interested in this to read the book Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins. It will open your eyes if you've been asleep.

Does it suprise you that the Albanians are applying pressure on Macedonia at this moment as the negotiations are reaching their final stages and pressure is on Gruevski from both Washington and Brussels.

The Albanians are puppets of the Americans.

They are no doubt puppets to foreign Masters in the West. I would also lump in all of SDSM and some former VMRO (and maybe some current VMRO) members as well as all the Albanian partys. Branko and Co. were trying to create a world of fear in Macedonia using the EU as the carrot and utilizing the terrorists from Kosovo and Tetovo as the boogey man. But as we all looked at characters like Xhaferi talk nonsense companies like Haliburton were looking to exploit the land and the situation. I don't doubt for one second that after reading John Perkins book as well as a book by a man named Joseph J. Trento titled The Secret History of the CIA that the US & Britain made the call to kill Boris Trajkovski. I know it sounds silly but the plane crashing scenario is all to familiar with what happens to leaders in Central and South America who oppose the Corprotocracy.

The US is not building that massive compound in Skopje for nothing. They expect return on their investment.

              Macedonia's Underhanded Dissolution
              by J. David Galland
              August 17, 2001

The world may believe that the carefully staged, orchestrated, and subdued signing of the "Made in America" Ohrid framework document translates into peace in Macedonia, the latest Balkan boiling pot. It, however, does not. It will not provide any measurable change to the status quo, except for one thing: NATO soldiers have now, legally, shoehorned themselves into Macedonia.

This is the "endgame" of this whole NATO-contrived maelstrom of confusion and death. Now, the capitulation and the "buying-out" of the Macedonian marionette, President Boris Trajkovski, can turn Macedonia into a NATO protectorate, completely controlled by NATO – just like Bosnia and Kosovo. NATO has finally achieved the goal of its long-contrived secret agenda.

The United States, Great Britain, and the other, less significant members of NATO, have created, hired, trained, armed, coached, and directed the "so-called" Albanian Rebel Force. Until only a short time ago, many of the Albanian rebels were on NATO's payroll in Kosovo, where they were the benefactors of "hands-on" training provided by American Green Berets and their British counterparts.

They were provided weapons, mostly American-made, and the latest night vision devices. They were under the pedagogical tutelage of the Special Forces Soldiers. From them they could learn small unit infantry, and unconventional force, operations. Their initial missions were to kill and maim as many Serb soldiers as possible, after the May 1999 NATO bombing campaign, and to remove Slobodan Milosevic from his former position. However, this Albanian force slowly but surely got out of the control of their ultimate handlers, the CIA. Suddenly a rogue military force, which financed its "sidebar" activities with complicated and efficient criminal endeavours, was running loose. Damage control was the tall order that NATO faced.

In the past six months, the basically tranquil Macedonian countryside has turned into a free-fire zone. Continually, NATO has pleaded, persuaded, threatened, and bribed the Macedonian government, and its military, into dancing to their tune. NATO clearly did not want their rogue army of CIA mercenaries to be shot up, captured, or killed to the point of their own capitulation. This is why the United States, through a well-known government contractor, has run an off-line operation providing trainers and advisers, amongst the ranks of the Albanian Rebels.

Almost all of these "trainers" are former U.S. military officers, who were simply hired, or transferred on paper, to go to work as contractors, and do what American soldiers ought not be doing, because it is illegal. I would be very interested in knowing how many US soldiers are running around Macedonia, serving in "Classified Assignments", or with CIA fabricated identity documents and registered "Cover" and "Pen" names.

If one believes that American infantrymen suddenly showed up to escort four-hundred Albanian Rebels out of harm's way in air conditioned busses last month, just to be nice, then I have some beach front property in Abilene, Kansas for sale. At that fiasco, there were seventeen American advisers and trainers. They were in-ranks with the group of Albanian Rebels. NATO had to secure plausible deniability by rescuing the entire force of Albanians, and their mentors – without disarming them, I may add.

The peace papers that were signed on Monday are virtually worthless. They spell the eventual disabling of Macedonia's foundering security forces. At the same time, NATO Special Forces soldiers will enter Macedonia, link up with their old friends, and protect them as they throw a few of their weapons into the pot. As well, their territorial seizures and controlled land will be secured intact with the presence of NATO.

If, however, in the meantime, Macedonia offers a protest or a whimper that they are not satisfied with the complexion of the "so-called" peace implementation, then the US mediator, James Pardew, will likely come back and remind Trajkovski just who is calling the shots in this comic opera of NATO deceit, and where the money comes from.

It was Pardew's mandate to employ manipulation and intimidation, while holding the sword of Damocles over Macedonia's head, in the form of promising to do nothing about the Albanian Rebels. Do nothing, that is, if Macedonian negotiators did not do exactly what NATO demanded, capitulate! Now, it is too late. The Macedonian government has basically relinquished all its jurisdictions and national autonomy to NATO. Macedonia does not govern Macedonia any more.

NATO's military forces, the common soldiers, have been deluded into believing that they are spreading peace and democracy. It is what they are doing and by what means they employ and further their goals, which the free world ought not accept: lies and a pattern of enormous dishonesty. All the while, they are tripping over themselves to congratulate their NATO colleagues and partners in crime – and they are gloating about having pulled the wool over the world's eyes, again.

These essays examine several aspects of the nature of the emerging strategic environment and how this situation affects thinking about U.S. strategy in the 21st century. The United States and its Allies currently confront a number of major trouble spots around the world. In addition, the stability and defense policies of U.S. Allies represent an increasingly important factor in the making of U.S. foreign policy. How well the American military is adjusting to the post-Cold War world with the threats of declining defense budgets and rapid changes in technology, will be a determining factor in the course of the coming decade. Here, the discussion of an impending joint military culture and service cultures out of touch with the harsh realities of the emerging strategic environment combine in a dramatic prediction of 21st century foreign strategies. The Balkans, the Middle East, and Russia all present considerable defense planning difficulties with no obvious solutions. The Balkans represent the clearest immediate danger, as the weight of history and current political ambitions threaten to destabilize Europe's southeastern flank. In the mid-term range are Middle Eastern concerns such as water shortages, border disputes, and new rivalries, all of which unbalance an area whose oil reserves fuel the world economy. Finally, the Russian military collapse suggests that the future Russian threat may result more from national weakness than from strength.

The Albanian government recognized "The Republic of Kosovo" as an independent state in October of 1991....

The emerging strategic environment edited By Williamson Murray, Chapter 1 The Balkans: Of What is past, or passing, or to come by Brian Sullivan page 20.

....the parliament of Albania recognized Kosovo as an independent republic in 1991.

So now we have to ask another question here. Was the CIA involved in having the Albanian government recognize a phantom state in 1991? How far involved were they? Or did the Albanian government have delusions of grandeur and just saw an opportune time to try and widen its borders(Greater Albania) which put a big smile on the CIA's face? I think the above is a very important piece of information that coincides with the political instability of the region due to Western Imperialist involvement.

The real question is how we can convince the EU that they have too much to lose if Macedonia is completely owned by the USA. Then the idea of some apparent problem with Greece becomes as irrelevant as it actually is.

p.s. Thanks TM for the article, the description of events above has always been my belief since 2001.

                        What really happened at Karpalak

                        Saturday, 08 August 2009

Eight years passed since the Karpalak massacre in which 10 Macedonian reservists were killed by Albanian terrorists. Eight years have gone by and the public is still under the impression that there had been technical undoings that contributed to this disaster, says Janko Bachev, president of the Public Movement of Macedonia at today's press conference in Karpalak.

"Things are not what they seem to be and our citizens must know the truth. The Karpalak disaster is planned, constructed few days before the signing of the so called Framework Agreement in order to remove all hesitations and unwillingness demonstrated by the public during the 'talks'.
During the fighting we had a Government of both VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM, in which the police was controlled by VMRO, while the Ministry of Defense by the SDSM. Both of these fractions (Army and Police) at times were so uncoordinated that they appeared to be at war with each other.

The killing of three policemen in Aracinovo, Karpalak and Vejce are all crimes committed against Macedonian soldiers and policemen where they were purposely sacrificed to be ambushed." says Bachev.
"In the begining of July 2001, whole forty days before the Karpalak incident the Macedonian secret police had documents and information on 15 armed Albanians with names, age, in some case even photos of digging in around Karpalak. Our police infiltrated this group to such an extent that we sent a team to investigate the holes which were vacant during the night.

We knew everything about these people. Our police identified everyone in the group and with ease we were able to tell that most of the Albanian terrorists were narco addicts with previous criminal history.

The Police gave this information to the Ministry of Defense who for 40 days did nothing. The MoD could have sent a helicopter, a small elite team that would have wiped out this small terror group within a second, or even arrest the terror group at their homes. Not just that nothing was done, but the Ministry of Defense ordered the removal of a Skopje-Tetovo army checkpoint, near Karpalak, "says Bachev.

After the attack, the Macedonian reservists were left alone, the Ministry of Defense did not send help, even though the Army could have sent a gunship from Petrovac airport which needed only a 5 minute air time to reach Karpalak.
The Army, to make sure there are no survivors, sent a gunship full 60 minutes after the ambush." says Bachev.

"At the court hearing when Macedonian reservists sued the Government, I offered to be an expert witness where we can pin point which of the Government officials needs to stand trial, however one of the Attorneys refused my participation.
People need to know what happen and that this was all planned", concluded Bachev.

                          TM, those are interesting sources.

The whole thing with the Albanians went this way:

In the mid-1990s, Rugova pleaded for a United Nations peacekeeping force for Kosovo.

Not approved, the Albanian Civil War (1997) started.

During the ensuing riots, protestors stole over 500,000 rifles and other arms from government depots. Those rifles and other arms went directly to UCK (KLA) hands.

Even though in 1998, the U.S. State Department listed the KLA as a terrorist organization,
and in 1999 the Republican Policy Committee of the U.S. Senate expressed its troubles with the "effective alliance"
of the Clinton administration with the KLA due to "numerous reports from reputable unofficial sources . See more here.

At this stage, the Americans were already in Albania.

Macedonia was forced to take about 136,000 when not more Kosovar refugee. Gligorov had proposed to build Coridor from Kosovo to Albania. This was overturned. With those refugees, members of UCK (KLA) were schmuglt into Macedonia to prepare the ground.

After NATO moved into Kosovo, Serbs were disarmed while Albanians were left out from the weapon clean up.

KLA was "transformed" into Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC).

The guns were never given away. Instead they were schmuglt into Macedonia.

That lead to the 2001 events we all know.

The clear support for the Albanians is shown in where the U.S. army buses from Camp Bondsteel came from Kosovo to remove all the heavily armed terrorists to a safer area in Kosovo.

German reporters later revealed that 17 U.S. military advisors were accompanying the KLA terrorists in Aracinovo.

                          See more here.
To enquire after the impression behind an idea is the way to remove disputes concerning nature and reality.

War on terrorism skipped the KLA

                            by James Bissett

                            National Post, 13 November 2001
Centre for Research on Globalisation (CRG), globalresearch.ca 14 November 2001

                            --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

U.S. President George W. Bush has made it clear the war against terrorists will be unremitting and relentless. Even those countries affording shelter to terrorists will not be spared. These words come too late for the Serbs, Gypsies, Jews, Turks and other non-Albanians who have been driven from their ancestral homes in Kosovo by the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army. It is too late as well for Macedonia, which has been forced by the United States, the European Union and NATO to yield to all the demands of the Albanian terrorists in that country.

This double standard and lack of consistency when dealing with terrorists calls into question the policies the United States and its NATO allies followed in the Balkans. It also underlines the necessity for the United States and its allies to clean up their act if they wish to retain credibility in the war against terrorism.

The bombing of Yugoslavia in the spring of 1999 allegedly to stop ethnic cleansing and prevent the Balkans from becoming once again the powder keg of Europe has backfired. Kosovo has become exclusively an Albanian province with the exception of a few stalwart Serbians in the Mitrovica area who live surrounded by barbed wire and are threatened daily with murder and mayhem by their Albanian neighbours. The Balkans, since the end of the bombing, have been in constant turmoil caused by the KLA terrorist activities.

NATO allowed the KLA, which under the terms of United Nations Resolution 1244 was to be disarmed after the end of the bombing, to keep its weapons. The KLA was renamed the Kosovo Protection Force and been given the task of maintaining peace and security in Kosovo. How well it has been able to carry out this task is summed up in a report dated Feb. 26, 2001, to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, which accuses the protection corps of widespread acts of murder, torture and extortion.

That condemnation should not have come as a surprise. As early as 1998, the U.S. State Department listed the KLA as a terrorist organization financing its operations with money from the international heroin trade and funds supplied from Islamic countries and individuals, including Osama bin Laden. This did not stop the United States from arming and training KLA members in Albania and in the summer of 1998 sending them back into Kosovo to assassinate Serbian mayors, ambush Serbian policemen and intimidate hesitant Kosovo Albanians. The aim was to destabilize Kosovo and overthrow Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic.

Bin Laden and radical Muslim groups have been deeply involved in the Balkans since the civil wars in Bosnia from 1992 to 1995. Despite a UN arms embargo and with the knowledge and support of the United States, arms, ammunition and thousands of Mujahideen fighters were smuggled into Bosnia to help the Muslims. Many remain in Bosnia today and are recognized as a serious threat to Western forces there. The Bosnian government is said to have presented bin Laden with a Bosnian passport in recognition of his contribution to their cause. He and his al-Qaeda network were also active in Kosovo, and KLA members trained in his camps in Afghanistan and Albania.

Emboldened by the knowledge it could achieve its political objectives by terror, the KLA moved into southern Serbia and initiated, under the eyes of 40,000 NATO troops, a campaign of terror against the Serbian population. Not until NATO permitted the new democratic government of Serbia to send the Serb army back into the area was the KLA routed and sent back across the border into Kosovo.

Macedonia, with its large Albanian minority, was the KLA's next target. In February, its forces moved against this small and newly independent democracy. The familiar pattern of murder, ambush and intimidation followed. Unlike Serbia, which still possessed a powerful and well-equipped army, Macedonia had little with which to defend itself against the well equipped and battle-hardened KLA fighters. The promises of assistance made by former U.S. president Bill Clinton in return for Macedonia's co-operation during the Yugoslav bombing were forgotten.

Nevertheless, when the fighting started, it appeared NATO and the European Union might help Macedonia resist the terrorist threat. In March, Lord Robertson, the Secretary-General of NATO, condemned the KLA terror campaign and described them as "murderous thugs." He supported the Macedonian government's refusal to negotiate with the terrorists. Obviously, Lord Robertson was not aware the United States had other ideas about which side to support in Macedonia.

The message was made clear in May, when U.S. diplomat Robert Fenwick, ostensibly the head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, in Macedonia, met secretly in Prizren, Kosovo, with the leaders of the Albanian political parties and KLA representatives. Macedonian officials were not invited. It was clear the United States was backing the Albanian terrorist cause. This was confirmed a month later, when a force of 400 KLA fighters was surrounded in the town of Aracinovo near the capital, Skopje. As Macedonian security forces moved in, they were halted on NATO orders.

U.S. army buses from Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo arrived to remove all the heavily armed terrorists to a safer area of Macedonia. German reporters later revealed that 17 U.S. military advisors were accompanying the KLA terrorists in Aracinovo.

In August, fearing the Macedonian forces might be able to defeat the KLA, U.S. Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice flew to Kiev and ordered the Ukrainian government to stop sending further military equipment to Macedonia. Since Ukraine was the only country supplying Macedonia with military assistance, the Macedonians realized continued resistance against the KLA terrorists, the EU and NATO was futile. Macedonia was forced to concede defeat and obliged to accept all the terrorist demands. When the peace treaty was signed, Lord Robertson proclaimed, "This day marks the entry of Macedonia into modern, mainstream Europe ... a very proud day for their country."
