I like that last sentence....."Thus the Macedonians, though oppressed and poor, preserved their national identity and their cultural and artistic individuality."
.......sums it up pretty well, not a lot of room here for misinterpretation!
On Delchev's sarcophagus you can read the following inscription: "We swear the future generations to bury these sacred bones in the capital of Independent Macedonia. August 1923 Illinden"
Only ultra-Islamists and people from Turkey believe him. It has nothing to do with the case but most professor's creations are not to be trusted. A Macedonian language exists but other things are not so true, or if they are true, most people don't accept them.

What an idiotic comparison. De Bray was one of the most respected Slavonic linguists and the book cited( Guide to the Slavonic languages) is the standard textbook for the Slavic languages.

Please explain what other things are not so true and what most people do not accept, please.
My dear friend, stick to the topic, posting something totally irrelevant to the topic or anything posted in the thread will result in a warning.

So you're basing your opinion on someone who has absolutely nothing to do with R.G.A. De Bray and we should just take your word for it because????
And I guess you and your fertile imagination are an expert on Macedonian matters. Until you come clean and declare your position on the Macedonian question posting totally irrelevant articles like the above is pointless and contribute nothing to the thread but are only intended as a distraction and to discredit a well respected linguist like de bray

Imagination(truly an apt name)
but most professor's creations are not to be trusted.
I trust this applies to your Greek professors as well?
and this one.........
or if they are true, most people don't accept them
So by your calculations, "if they are true most people don't believe them." By most people, who do you mean? And why wouldn't most people believe the truth? You've come to the wrong place if you aren't interested in the truth!

I have obtained the complete book by de Bray and will post the relevant parts here for further study. And also add it to my other thread, the one where I am looking for 100 new documents.
