Macedonian Flags and Coat of Arms

(Chavalier errant, B.N Paris, 1394)

The coat of Alexander Macedonian is present in european tradition since 14 st. It is part of group ''nine worthy'' and it is showen in five manuscript explored until now. Most time it is present like golden lion on red platform-field

                I think it's Julius Ceasar.

The above is very interesting given the yellow and red colours featuring a rampant lion, as this is a medieval symbol of Macedonia.
In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

                  Alexander the Great

Azure a king in his majesty seated on a throne all or (BC)
Or a lion gules armed and langued azure (JB)
Gules two lions or confronting (BC)
                  Sable a griffon or (HB)
Meaning Alexander was represented with other heraldry also, but predominantly with a lion or lions.

It always starts with Hector and second is Alexander, check the far left, second in line, a red background with two lions (or 3?):

In the name of the blood and the sun, the dagger and the gun, Christ protect this soldier, a lion and a Macedonian.

Anybody have anymore information on this topic?

I think it is very interesting given the symbol accompanying Alexander as depicted by northern and western Europeans is almost the same as the medieval symbol of Macedonia.

Welcome to the forum Jovan and thank you very much for that information. The work you guys have done is excellent, until it was brought to our attention here recently we were not aware. The work you guys have produced affirms a cultural significance through the symbols used by ourselves and others to represent the Macedonian land and people.

If you have any more pictures of the 'Nine Worthies' that depict the rampant lion with Alexander, please post them here. Good luck with the exhibition.
