![]() Albanians, Armenians, Gypsies, Grkomani, Vlachs and christianised Turks...why can't an ethnic Chinese person be 'Greek' as well???
The following is a photo of Sherman David Cheung (or Fotis Makritoxonis as he likes to be called by his neo-hellenic friends). Strangely, most modern Greek fanantics accept Sherman as being a genuine 'Greek'. Quote:

![]() Guys, don't you know Fotis?
Fotis Makritoxonis (CHEUNG) comes from a long line of CHEUNG's, his ancestry goes all the way back to his ancient great grandfather who fleed the Shang Dynasty in China, seeking refuge in Mycenae on the Pelloponese and being of the same generation, was a great friend of Homer's and was even involved in building the famous Trojan Horse. His descendant, thus Fotis' ancestral grandfather, fought in the Battle of Chaeronea on the side of the united Greeks (and therefore Macedonians) against the Macedonians (and therefore Greeks) led by Philip of Macedon. He was a Greek hero who died for a united Greece by trying to kill Macedonians (therefore Greeks) to stop the Macedonians (therefore Greeks) from killing all the Greeks (therefore Macedonians). ![]() ![]() ![]() Phew. That's confusing. They say you should walk a mile in someone elses shoes if you really want to understand them - I think after writing that, I understand just why the Greeks are so confused about who and what they are. What a mess. Last edited by Rogi; 04-13-2009 at 10:00 AM. |

![]() Shame on you all for doubting Sherman's 'Greekness'. I'm quite sure he is descended from a long line of Chinese 'Greek' 'Macedonians', stretching all the way back ancient Macedonia. In fact, I heard that modern Greek archaeologists have recently discovered the remains of and ancient 'Greek' 'Macedonian' Chinese restaurant which served the royal court of Philip II at Pella.

![]() I also hear CHEUNG's grandfather might've been one of the mobile Doctor's that went along with Alexander and the Macedonian army... clearly his specialty was Chinese medicine...
