I don’t understand why the political protest target’s Macedonian property instead of the politicians held accountable.

That woman in the blue shawl in the last picture, clapping over the act of a little paint filled balloon being thrown. Wow lady, act your age.

Instead they stand around idling while Zaev models for pictures and his minions clap along and cheer over his antics.

The opposition in Macedonia is a politically impotent, barren and craven movement, a mere liegeman to the wishes of external powers, it's allegiances aren't with the Macedonian people or the nation but purely to serve self-interest and the much wider geo-political interests of their masters.

This deep well of political ineptitude leaves the opposition with very few options to provide a viable political alternative in Macedonia.
In such an environment, one devoid of meaningful things that may add real value to the political debate, the paint throwing antics of the likes of Zaev and his cohorts is the perfect example of how patriotism becomes the last refuge of the scoundrel.

I don’t understand the Spoils system in Macedonia. Macedonians tolerate these corrupt politicians and incompetent bureaucrats when they have the power to demand civil service reform and weed out these parasites. There are also other incompetent individuals in the system due to the “proportional employment in public bodies” within The Framework Agreement, a civil service reform will introduce mandatory examinations, reassess all current positions in office and create a Macedonian Civil Service Commission.

What is this ‘Financial Assistance under IPA II, funding allocation 2014 – 2020”, it is disappointing that the Macedonians have not created a Government Watchdog.

There was a study recently that over 1500 state employees that were employed because of the FA (mostly Albanians) were receiving a paycheck without even going to work, just because the quota had to be filled in.

Something similar to this happens in South Africa, where after the anti-apartheid laws large numbers of black Africans had to be employed because the government introduced a mandatory quota that MUST be comprised of black workers.
In most cases these are low educated people that can't actually do their job properly but the owner can't fire them due to this quota.

Who conducted this recent study? Where did they present their findings? What action will be taken and when? That is a massive drain on the system, which is disastrous, it is unhealthy and unproductive. These people are an impediment, a real handicap on the system and the country.

A civil service reform act will create legislation to remove these individuals, but because of the FA these parasites will only be replaced with other parasites. Evaluating the individuals that hold office is not enough, as these offices will be given to other incompetent individuals. The roles and their requirements must be re-evaluated so these individuals can be placed under constant scrutiny.

The Australian Taxation Office introduced KPI’s as a means of shaking up the system with the intention of creating a more productive service.

A civil service reform can also introduce new measures, proceedings and penalties that will change the way officials conduct themselves. It has the potential to create a greater work standard due to introduced penalties for not meeting the requirements of the position and for fraudulent work. If they don’t comply then they will be penalised and fined if they have nothing to show for themselves, this would be considered fraudulent work, arrest these criminals.

These criminals are receiving a pay check for being an impediment to the country and its people, this is fraud they should be prosecuted and jailed. Reclaim these lost wages through fines.

I think it was the European Commission, but it's been a while and i don't know if the study is still available online,I'll have to look it up.
As far as actions taken regarding that,I don't think Grujo & co. are too worried as all they care about is that they have minorities in state offices as per the FA.That's what matters to him.

Macedonia's parliament on Monday is due to form a special commission to investigate whether President Gjorge Ivanov broke the constitution with his decision on April 12 to stop criminal procedures against 56 top politicians and their associates - which he partially retracted on Friday.

The commission will have seven days to prepare a report and submit it to parliament to be discussed at a plenary session.
However, while the debate in parliament over Ivanov's conduct and responsibility is likely to be heated, it is also likely that the impeachment will fail, as the main ruling VMRO DPMNE party has already opted against it.

"Putting the President on trial for a decision he has the right to make is unacceptable," VMRO DPMNE MP and coordinator of the ruling party's group in parliament, Ilija Dimovski, said.
"Ivanov has political legitimacy and his contribution is of serious importance for state institutions," he added.

In order to pass, the initiative signed by 52 legislators, submitted by the main opposition Social Democrats, SDSM and backed by MPs from the junior ruling Democratic Union for Integration, DUI, needs a two-third majority in parliament to succeed.

This means that it needs at least 82 of the 123 votes in the assembly, and the SDSM and DUI do not control that many seats. Even if it does pass in parliament, the initiative would then have to be taken before the Constitutional Court, which will have the final say.

Under heavy international pressure to back down, last Friday Ivanov partially retracted his decision, retracting the pardons he had issued for 22 out of the 56 persons, namely those who hold political positions.

"I have made a decision to annul the decision to pardon all politically exposed persons - 22 in total," Ivanov said, "No politician is above the law and untouchable," he added.

The President also called all the others who do not wish to be pardoned to submit requests to him, so that he can remove them from the list as well.

Ivanov's pardons on April 12 effectively blocked the work of the Special Prosecution, set up to probe high-level corruption as part of an EU-brokered political crisis accord reached last summer.
The list of pardoned people was dominated by members of the ruling VMRO DPMNE party and by others seen as close to the ruling politicians.

The move outraged the opposition and worsened the political crisis in the country, sparking mass anti-government protests in the capital and in other towns, as well as prompting counter-rallies held in support of the government led by the VMRO DPMNE party.

Ivanov's pardons were also condemned by the EU and US who demanded he withdraw what they said was a harmful move that had undermined last summer's EU-brokered political deal.

The crisis in Macedonia revolves around opposition claims that the government formerly led by Nikola Gruevski was responsible for the illegal wiretapping of over 20,000 people, amongst other crimes.

Gruevski, who took power in 2006 and resigned as prime minister earlier this year under the terms of the EU-brokered accord, claims that unnamed foreign intelligence services “fabricated” the wiretapping tapes and gave them to the opposition to destabilize the country.

According to Ivanov, no one is above the law, except the 30 or so that are stilled pardoned. This is a freaking circus.

How long does it take to overthrow 20-30 politicians? For crying out loud, a gang of hooligans could accomplish it in an afternoon, let aloe thousands of dismayed citizens. We are not talking ab out a sprawling state here, Macedonia is literally run by 20-30 people, they all fit on one bus.

If people are truly sick of this, whats taking them so long to literally march into their offices and drag them out.

That is the very definition of a pardon, Their crimes are not above the law, but pardoned, as stipulated by law.

He originally pardoned 56 people, he then revoked the pardon for 22 people, and his reasoning for revoking his original pardon was that no one is above the law. If no one is above the law then why pardon them in the first place and why not revoke the pardon for all 56. That is what I meant about a circus.

VMRO-DPMNE becomes the very definition of Spineless

                      Thursday, 02 June 2016

Macedonian politicians continue to take dump on the frequently mentioned and revered members of the Ilinden revolution, NOB whose main goal was to create a unitary, sole and independent state free of external influences.

However, the very people who are bound by ideology, their world famous name are sadly the people who have stepped over everything their predecessors did, the VMRO of 1903, 1945...

As Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria took care of their states by securing their financial, economical and energy future, our country is still cowering in fear from the last slavery period under the Ottomans. As a result, whether our Goverment is ruled by the SDSM traitors or the VMRO-DPMNE fools, both parties are screaming in chorus "EU and NATO" while the corrupt fascist clubs are yelling back even louder "F_ck You". Both political parties are degrading Macedonia in particularly its people with each passing day.

Lets take a look at Serbia

Not so long ago, Serbia was facing with a Macedonian scenario, in fact with the original Ukrainian scenario. Of course, the crisis was suppose to be orchestrated from the inside, the Government, or from the traitors within the Government. That role was given to Dacikj, he was the Trojan horse, so the Wizard of Oz can do their thing.

The Serbs are not idiots, they knew a coup was underway so prime minister Vuchich called for early parliamentary elections at the same time secured
support from Moscow just in case the "democratic" West tries to undermine the wishes of the voters. There were attempts to do this, however all of it passed without major incidents.

Two days ago Vucich met with Putin in Moscow, thanked him for the support of the "brotherly people" and left Russia promising Putin that Serbia is open to partner with Russia.

To summarize, Vuchich was facing orchestrated chaos, he met it, sought and found a "big brother" who stood up to the thugs led by United States. A knockout followed.

It's nearly an identical story in Republika Srpska. The attempts for violence ended before they begun. In the meantime Dodik arranged the establishment of a Russian base.

Serbia and Republika Srpska chose wisely, requested, received and will now live in peace and prosperity.

                      Bulgaria is a special case

Borisov agreed with Moscow to make Bulgaria available for the South Stream project, as a result massive demonstrations followed which forced Borisov to resign from the Government.

The US installed a puppet Government which cancelled the contract with Gazprom. Shortly afterwards, Borisov was once again elected prime minister, except this time much wiser. While he nodded to US bullying, Borisov signed a new contract with Gazprom thus securing his country's economic and energy future.

                      Greece

After the Greek state fell into a speculative bankruptcy caused by American, British and German financial institutions in order to weaken the country and install a puppet Government which would prevent the

Chinese Silk Road extending from China all the way to the Balkans, as a true European and NATO contributor Tsipras gathered enough courage to fly to Moscow and meet with Putin.

This was in itself a threat from Athens to the US and EU that if they don't assist Greece financially, they will forever lose their influence in the Mediterranean. The Babylonian sinners got on their knees and coughed up 10B euros.

Not long after, Putin made his way to Greece to discuss energy, logistical and transportation projects which will make Greece more independent and prosperous.

Now, the following logical question must be asked - why does Macedonia have never had capable diplomacy? Why is it that since its independence Macedonia is reporesented by the most incompetent people in the world? In Macedonia, the title Ambassador is a synonym for a joke - members of the party who wins the elections and are not capable of contributing to anything are sent as "Ambassadors" somewhere in the world.

The situation is even worse at a central level. The MFA is tarator. The institution whose sole purpose is to show strength and the integrity of its people, bends its spine in front of every popular, anonymous or frustrated politician, thus portraying the entire country as a pile of cowards. Who the hell is Bailey, for the entire country to await his statements whether he likes something or is willing to let us do something? Who the hell is Hahn - a common court fool in the bureaucracy of an illegal organization of European states.

Why is that anyone in Macedonia needs to put the future of their children in the hands of someone named Aivo Orav who came from the least democratic country in Europe, Estonia where Nazism and Fascism are glorified - WW2 Nazism is consdered a gain in Estonia, not a tragedy.

While our "diplomacy" is pissing in the wind yelling "We want EU, NATO", the other side is pissing at us with double the capacity. To summarize, Macedonia is begging to be part of a company of nations that are mocking us, want to turn is into a protectorate, while those who recognize us, respect us, give us courage, support and tell us they are ready to help us - we are avoiding, hiding and running away from them.

It is beyond logic, beyond rational thinking to beg someone who disrespects, bullies, blackmails, humiliates you, spits at your grand father, at your roots, at your history, culture, language, religion and your identity.

It is illogical to push your face into a wall so they can slap you while remaining deaf to the 2 million people who tell you not to do that and ask you to turn your face in the opposite direction where there are no walls.

Why? What is the blackmail? What is the price that the people will need to pay? Grow a pair, come out and tell us and you'll get even bigger support!

Even if Gruevski is superman, he cannot be omnipresent and issue orders everywhere. Every major decision is left for him to decide. His so called "advisors" afraid that the Wizard of Oz has tapes of their private affairs are whispering "EU and NATO". It's not Gruevski's fault. He put his trust in people who abused it, their affairs were recorded and nicely edited for the purposes of the Wizard of Oz and now we're just happy when it rains yellow rain - none of us has the courage to say that the rain is actually Bailey's piss.

Why are we afraid to even mention the alternative? Why is there fear to look into alternative solutions that will make Macedonia prosperous, without blackmails, conditions and negations. For how long are we going to beg those who tells us Macedonia was made up and shouldn't exist. Yet on the other side there is a world power who recognizes us and respects us. Recognizes our deep culture and history going back thousands of years, teaches the rest of the world that Alexander the Great is Macedonian and that Cyril and Methodius educated Europe.

                      Why the fear?

Bulgaria and Greece are EU and NATO members yet they openly, freely seek deeper relations and business with Russia. We did not see anyone go to jail, nor were they bombed as a result. Granted, they don't have zombies like Zaev because they are immediately prosecuted.

For the irony to be even greater, the political parties who allegedly represent the people and scream for EU and NATO, the latest polls show our citizens would prefer vomit over EU and NATO. In fact, the majority in the country don't want to hear EU, NATO, Americans, Belgians, Germans or Austrians as general words. Our people want to live and prosper. They have had enough of carrying two watermelons under both arms. It can only be one.

Macedonia needs courage to chose, we are either going to continue to beg and be happy with West's "yellow rain", or we are going to grow a spine and will stand tall and independent with the people who recognize and respect us. //Aleksandar Mitovski, Gorazd Velkovski
“There’s a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part, you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus and you’ve got to make it stop, and you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all” - Mario Savio

Again Macedonians seem to miss the point. Again pointing the finger at someone else, and looking up to yet another "big brother" to bail them out.

Macedonia did not end up where it is now because of the "West".

From day one, they allowed others to make decisions for them. The let Greece pick there name and flag. They let Albanian terrorists write their constitution. They let their political leaders do as they please. The average Macedonian refuses to accept they, and they are to blame for everything that is going on.

Just as in life, when you how strength, typically you get respect. When you show weakness, people ignore you.

If from day one they refused to be bullied by Greece, by now there wouldn't be e name issue. The only reason it still exists is because Macedonians let it exist, we give it legitimacy when our brilliant leaders say that our name is negotiable.

Why are Albanians ruining amok, because we appeased them, we reinforced that if they act out violently, they get what they want. the Macedonian army could have acted swiftly and decisively, killed the terrorists, and through their own terms and means, came up with a political solution, not under blackmail form terrorists.

When form day one their political "leaders" abused power, committed treason, went against popular sentiment, they could have removed them.

Macedonians all act like a bunch of helpless sobbing little bitches. That's the reason the world keeps pissing on us. To think that all we need is a different sugar daddy, is not only naive, but its the same type of thinking that has pushed Macedonia to this state in the first place.

How we went from 30,000 men conquering millions with their bare hands, to a nation scared of its own shadow is perplexing.

Normal people get upset when they are told a lie. Macedonians get upset when they hear the truth. You just made them cry Gocka I think this description should win an award.

Astounding isn't it, and this persistent delusional infatuation with Russia is mind boggling to say the least.

The dig at DPNE was interesting coming from MINA, although they did somehow end up putting Gruevski on a pedestal...

I guess you didn't read Iceman's propaganda articles from MINA that he's continually posting here?
MINA is a government agency, and as such is under control of DPMNE.Did you expect anything different?
Wizzard Of Ozz,internal enemies, international conspiracy theories against a meaningless state in the middle of nowhere...It's a known recipe of ruling parties and governments when they're exposed in their wrongdoings.Suddenly they emphasize imaginary enemies, threat to the people and the state, foreign mercenaries trying to breakup our glorious society and of course the inevitable "domestic traitors and spies" paid by evil zionist organizations. It's a deja-vu seen many times before.

Poor Gruevski, he can only do so much. And surrounded by idiots, no less. And Russia can save us. I'm beginning to feel ashamed to be Macedonian.
