Even though the Balkans sees comparable amounts of illicit drugs trafficked, it has not turned as violent as what Mexico is. Something the Balkan nations should be very fortunate about. -

Drugs creates work…Police Customs Hospitals Insurance claims
Drugs stimulate the economy…apart from the greater employment and hence these employees spending their income drug types both high and low spend lots on luxury items ie whats the point of being a drug king if you don’t have the mansions cars and all the bling. All this spending stimulates the economy.
Drugs are a form of taxation…people who do drugs need to spend large parts of their income to buy it and others also steal to buy it. Not wealthy people would not spend much on luxury items or resurants but get 50 dollars from only 1000 idiots and you have heaps to spend which employs waiters and bar staff and all the downstream input industries.
Double left field…why should all the drug lords have all the bling when government can get in on the act and finance their black opps.

WTF? Veles? The head wasnt in Veles, and most of the dealers are not from there, 80% od those who got arrested and are in jail in Germany or Austria i know them personally, none of them from Veles.
