Greek Media: Macedonia is destabilized from Outside, Government acted decisively

Developments in Macedonia have raised the alarm in Greece, reported Netpress' Athens correspondent. For the majority of the Greek public it is already certain that the attempted coup and destabilization by the SDSM in cooperation with foreign agencies is needed in order to overthrow the government and prevent the progress of the Turkish stream.

This thesis was further strengthened after the last statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry in which it says the opposition SDSM, Soros NGO and a Western country want to cause a 'color revolution' in Macedonia.

Newspaper "Contranews" writes that Moscow is closely monitoring the situation and will not allow Kosovo terrorists to remain in Macedonia or the region.

"At this stage in progress is a US plan to destabilize Macedonia. Skopje's government reacted calmly and decisively, preventing Albanian terrorists to carry out destabilization, which foresaw the bombing of key public and government buildings, "the newspaper said, adding that the plan provided for attacks on shopping malls and stadiums with the end goal being total chaos.

"Contranews" informs Americans are using Albanian terrorists once again as proxy to set the stage for a colored revolution in Macedonia, using the same model that caused total chaos in Libya, Syria, Ukraine and other countries. The text says that Greece is closely monitoring the situation, and that Greek-Albanian relations have been strained recently.

"Washington has directly warned Greece to renounce the Turkish stream", political scientist Simon Georgakakis says in a column for the Greek portal "Pygmi.gr", He writes that with the developments in Macedonia, the United States is sending a clear message to Greece.

"And suddenly, a firefight erupted between the powerful police forces and armed Albanians which ended with dead and wounded - meanwhile the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski has indicated there are efforts to destabilize the country through which Russian pipeline passes," he says in his text.

"Albanian paramilitary structures have attacked in Macedonia, is Greece far from such an event? "- Asked Golden Dawn, criticizing the Greek Foreign Ministry for not taking any measures to prevent the risk.

"It is likely that we are facing grim recovery plan of Greater Albania. Increased activities of Albanian paramilitary and criminal organizations alert that this development should be prevented and Greece to take immediate steps to find a solution before a fait accompli, "the statement said of the Golden Dawn.

The Greek public has known for some time the Western countries (primarily the US) does not choose means to prevent Russian gas pipelines - whatever it takes! The former Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis received death threats over Greece's willingness to participate in the South Stream project. The Greek Government filed a charge for attempted murder against an unknown perpetrator.

At the same time, the Russian intelligence services informed their colleagues in Athens that Greek's officials had their cell phones wiretapped. Greek top officials, ministers and others had their conversation with Karamanlis taped, and the Prime Minister's conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the investigation it was determined that the plan to stage massive protests and wiretapping of conversations were interconnected into one strategy. For its implementation worked few Western security services giving it the codename of "Piata1".

At least 20 Greek spies were working for their Western bosses. The ultimate goal was the destabilization of Greece. The Greek public has no doubt that the spy network was behind the riots and major protests during Karamanlis' last term. One of the key witnesses in the case was the then Minister of Development Christos Folias, who shortly before the signing of the Greek-Russian South Stream agreement was invited for a meeting by the US Ambassador to Athens. Greek media reported that the minister was shocked by the message of the American dimplomat, which read: "If you sign this contract, it will go up against the supreme national interests of the United States, and it is something that we will not let pass."
