Education and Culture Movement of Edessa - Voden

Since its founding in 2009, the Education and Culture Movement of Edessa - Voden ( http://edessavoden.gr/ ) has been active in many fields that were considered as “taboo” in Greece! It started its activities by organizing Macedonian language classes for adults, in 2009! The next year, in May 2010, the publishing of the Macedonian magazine “Zadruga” was started, and in February 2011 the internet radio Voden Makedonsko Radio started broadcasting Macedonian music and songs, from Aegean Macedonia! By organizing several events, the Education and Culture Movement of Edessa encouraged many other Macedonian cultural associations, especially in our region of Central Macedonia, to follow the example and introduce officially the Macedonian songs in their events, and not just the music and dancing! To commemorate the 100 years of Aegean Macedonia’s annexation to the Greek state, our organization published a small history book "The message of the Local (Native)", which had a huge success and it had reached the number of almost 80,000 reads on the internet (https://www.scribd.com/info2110) were it was posted, also with its translation into English! In 2013, our organization was accepted by the NPLD (Network to Promote Language Diversity) as an associated member, and since that year it participates in the work and assemblies of this organization, to represent our Macedonian language in EU. All these we have achieved were done thanks to donors who generously supported our work all these past 6 years! Please, donate so we can keep our organization active, to continue to produce even better results for the protection and promotion of our Macedonian identity in Greece and the EU!
Our organization struggles to protect and promote Macedonian culture and language in Aegean Macedonia, to keep the organization active, our Voden Makedonsko Radio broadcasts, our publications and our membership to EU organization to promote our language!

Came across this and thought I would post here.
