Macedonian Parliament adopts the resolution that draws red lines in the negotiations with Bulgaria. Unsure of the exact resolution 'wording' at the moment.

The Macedonian Parliament voted today to adopt the resolution proposed by VMRO-DPMNE, on the future conduct of the negotiations with Bulgaria. The resolution draws red lines that will bind this and future Governments, as Bulgaria makes demands aimed at Macedonian history and national identity.

The Macedonian language is unique and different from the other languages. The Macedonian nation has a culture and a history it can be proud of and we will not let anyone dispute that. Long live Macedonia, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski, as he announced the outcome of the vote.

Party leader Hristijan Mickoski is set to hold a press conference on the issue.

Neither shocking or surprising. Still wondering what Zaev signed back in 2017, and the exact contents of that "agreement".

Џамбаски со остар коментар за Резолуцијата усвоена во македонското Собрание

URL:

Indeed, long live Macedonia, except the resolution these plastic patriots adopted refers to "Northern Macedonia".

(Translation) The Macedonian Parliament adopted the Resolution for determining the state positions in the context of the blockades of the European integrations, submitted by the parliamentary group of VMRO-DPMNE. 96 MPs voted for the Resolution, 95 voted "For", and one abstained. Earlier, MPs supported the amendment submitted by a group of MPs in the Resolution to include the constitutional name of the country - the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
If anybody is still gullible enough to believe that DPNE politicians are genuinely against the betrayal made to Greece and will struggle to rescind it, either in opposition or once back in power, Bulgaria has a flying Tatar to sell you.

"Such a Resolution as an act of the highest democratic legislative house can not and must not be violated and will be an obligatory act for this and every future Government, President and every institution regarding identity issues and issues," said Mickoski.
If he was sincere about the main points in that resolution, he would have to categorically reject the treacherous Prespa Agreement. Yet, he had no resolve when it counted back in 2018. Why such energy from Mickoski's DPNE now, when much of the damage has already been done? It's almost as if they were always prepared to accept the betrayal of Macedonia to Greece, believing that it would buy them enough clout with the EU to mitigate the bitching emanating from Bulgaria. But Bulgaria is still bitching and now these cowards have to create a resolution to affirm our identity, even though that same resolution also affirms the earlier betrayal to Greece. Genius

(Translation) The coordinator of the parliamentary group of SDSM Jovan Mitreski said that the Resolution is acceptable for the Social Democrats, but by accepting their amendment which introduces the constitutional name……... The Macedonian language, the Macedonian identity and the Macedonian uniqueness are internationally recognized and confirmed, entered in our identity card in the United Nations. Our international positions are clearly set and I do not know how many times they have been publicly repeated - for the Macedonian identity, the Macedonian language, for the Macedonian uniqueness, there have not been, there will not be and there will never be negotiations. It simply cannot be negotiated as an indisputable fact. Today, for the whole world, we are Macedonians who speak Macedonian, said Mitreski. He said that although they had publicly stated their positions that the Macedonian language and identity were not being negotiated, they would support the resolution to put an end to the lies being spread about SDSM's national betrayal.
In case anybody was unclear as to their motives. SDS support this resolution because they think it helps them conceal their treachery, so they can keep pretending that they didn't betray Macedonia with Prespa and sundry other "agreements" they've made.

Zaev: We will open the Constitution before joining the EU and then we will introduce the Bulgarians, Croats, Montenegrins ...

(Translation) If someone wants us to do it tomorrow, even if we want to, we cannot. We do not have two thirds, nor is it needed, but we say it publicly because Bulgarians and Croats, Montenegrins and Egyptians and many other ethnic communities will be incorporated in our Constitution in the eyes of accession, said Zaev. To a journalist question that if the Bulgarians are included in the Macedonian Constitution, will reciprocity be required, ie inclusion of Macedonians in the Bulgarian Constitution, given that there are Macedonians in Bulgaria, Zaev said that it is Bulgaria's right and that interference in internal affairs to a neighboring country is not a message of friendship. That is the right of Bulgaria. It is always nice to have reciprocity, but interfering in the internal affairs of neighboring countries is not a message of friendship. It remains to them. I say it as our need, not because Bulgaria wants it.
Don’t forget the Chinese store owner in Skopje, Johnny from Nigeria and the 2 other African soccer players in Prilep. Better yet, apply some forward-thinking and anticipate the appearance of future minorities by just appending a list of every single ethnicity in the world to the constitution. Македонија за сите луѓе - like the new slogan of DPNE. Kind of hard not to make the connection. It's amusing to watch him state that he doesn't want to interfere in the affairs of Bulgaria with respect to the Macedonian minority in that country when the very reason he is proposing another change to the constitution is to appease Bulgaria, which is interfering in the affairs of Macedonia. He doesn't even consider reciprocity, such is the position of the rat who will go down as the greatest traitor in the modern history of Macedonia. Here are some other opinions on the matter.

Stojko Stojkov from OMO "Ilinden" - Pirin: Macedonians should be included in the Bulgarian Constitution

(Translation) Macedonians should be included in the Bulgarian Constitution, according to Stojko Stojkov from the party of Macedonians in Bulgaria, OMO "Ilinden" - Pirin. For Factor, he says that should be requested by the Macedonian Government, but also by the associations of Macedonians in Bulgaria. Stojkov emphasizes that there are more Macedonians in Bulgaria than Bulgarians in Macedonia. "Absolutely needed. I also think I said that in an interview for the last two months. As soon as negotiations are held between the two countries, Macedonia should ask for it. "We are neither registered nor recognized here," said Stojkov. In Bulgaria it is more and more often said that Bulgarians should be included in the Macedonian Constitution.

Edinstvena Makedonija: If Bulgarians are included in the Macedonian constitution, Macedonians must be included in the Bulgarian constitution

(Translation) "Recently, Bulgarian politicians have been increasingly actualizing the idea of changing the Macedonian constitution, in order to mention the Bulgarian minority in the country in the highest legal act. Acting Bulgarian Foreign Minister Svetlan Stoev even said that changing the Macedonian constitution is one of the ways to solve the problems with members of the Bulgarian minority in Macedonia. Edinstvena Makedonija has nothing against this call from the Bulgarian side, but only if there is a change in the Bulgarian constitution, in order to include the Macedonians in Bulgaria. Moreover, there are many more Macedonians in Bulgaria than Bulgarians in Macedonia. If the puppet government in Skopje does not ask for the Macedonians to be included in the Bulgarian constitution and again goes against the Macedonian national interests and internationally recognized principles and norms in this area, United Macedonia will take the necessary steps in cooperation with the Macedonian associations in the country. neighboring countries and beyond abroad."

Chinese Macedonians have done more for Macedonia than Zaev ever has.
