This treaty blazon begins with a dedication , dated 1542, and ends with the words: " Faict and completed the XXIX day of March , one thousand three hundred and forty cincq . 1543. " - Many coats of arms painted. The author of this Treaty and this collection of arms is perhaps Noel Boucq , Valenciennes . It was , in any case, made by him and probably his son Jacques , because his arms are painted in the initial letter of the preface ( fol. 3), and they end up with those of his first wife, Anne the Prince, in fol. 3 v ° , and those of his second wife, Marguerite Vivien , to fol. 4 . We read further in the fol. 1: " The present book appertient to Jacques Le Boucq , son of Noah, demorant in Valenciennes, on the Cross, the Noef Boucq , at the sign of the Small Nostre Damme . 1543. "
