Each of these issues takes up an entire page. Follow, four shields per page, the cardinals, emperors and kings, major lineages of Castile, Valencia, Aragon, Sicily, Naples, France, Flanders, Catalonia and biblical and Gentiles (fols. 4-106) characters. Assumptions portraits of the Counts of Barcelona, from Athaulf to Felipe II, more than half a body, architectural framework, two figures per page (folios 110 v v.-121.). This treaty blazon begins with a dedication , dated 1542, and ends with the words: " Faict and completed the XXIX day of March , one thousand three hundred and forty cincq . 1543. " - Many coats of arms painted. The author of this Treaty and this collection of arms is perhaps Noel Boucq , Valenciennes . It was , in any case, made by him and probably his son Jacques , because his arms are painted in the initial letter of the preface ( fol. 3), and they end up with those of his first wife, Anne the Prince, in fol. 3 v ° , and those of his second wife, Marguerite Vivien , to fol. 4 . We read further in the fol. 1: " The present book appertient to Jacques Le Boucq , son of Noah, demorant in Valenciennes, on the Cross, the Noef Boucq , at the sign of the Small Nostre Damme . 1543. "
