It is good to see you are still around after all these years.

The article is interesting.

I agree that history in the balkans has been interpreted, and continues to be interpreted from a modern nationalist point of view, and all its trappings.

Second, I agree with the article on the point that the Bulgarians are a different ethnic group, and that in the nineteenth century this term "Bulgarian" seemed to be associated with the "Slavic" element of the region for the first time.

In my opinion the "Slavic" ethnic group and "nation" he refers too are from an ethnic point of view, Macedonians.
