About 23 minutes in. Apparently we are shit when compared to the Croatians, Serbs, Albanians, Greeks etc.

    We don't send enough money?
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution. John Adams

Typical cafe commentator this bloke. Easy to say the contribution is not enough but what’s the solution? Where’s the bridge for the diaspora to cross and get involved?

Sounds like he thinks the Canadians that raised $100k For the families of those who were imprisoned should keep it and invest it in their own communities because you can’t do anything with a measly $100k there.
“There’s a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part, you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus and you’ve got to make it stop, and you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all” - Mario Savio

Am I hearing correctly? There are 1500 of us?

Without diaspora support, Macedonians can't fund a nationalistic party, nor a news medium to promote these parties nor are there enough of us in the Diaspora to have political influence in the countries in which we live.

He wants the diaspora to fund a political party in Macedonia that represents whose interests? He (a media personality with influence) wants the diaspora to fund a media channel representing whose interests?

My suggestion, all of it would be FREE if the Northadonians wanted it bad enough.

I have to watch more of his videos to have a better context on his views, but based on the video posted here are my thoughts.

He seems better than most media personalities in that shit hole.

In relation to what he said about the diaspora, he is both right and wrong. It's true that given the size of the diaspora, the organization and ability to take actions as a whole is pitiful. $100k is a lot in general terms, but in the context of a population of maybe 200k its pretty damn sad. That is like 50 cents per person, which is note even a third of the cost of a pack of gum. We have millionaires in our ranks that could shell that out on their own and then some. If you take into account the entire diaspora around the world we should have no problem raising a few million. We should be doing that and we should through diaspora organizations be attempting to do something useful with those funds.

Where he is wrong is in the assertion that it is down to the diaspora to ensure nationalist political parties and media exist in Macedonia. That is asinine. Even if we collected millions, we should do with those funds what WE think is the right thing. Its not our duty to artificially tip the scales in Macedonia and manufacture something that the people their clearly have no interest in.

We as a diaspora are not angered by the non existence of a nationalist party in Macedonia, we are angered by the mentality of the people who live there. Us throwing money at it and creating artificial political parties won't change that. If people there wanted to be nationalist, they could do it without our money or support.

One thing that I always look for in these blowhards is the presence of the ventilator. I noticed that straight away and for me 9 out of 10 times I don't care what they have to say after that. How can you claim to be a patriot and LOL an "intellectual" and not understand the basic logic involved in why that is so utterly wrong.

If you can't put 2 and 2 together and figure out that the ventilator is a Greek imposed flag of capitulation and not a Macedonian flag, then you are a moron and your views aren't worth shit.

It is really simple. Money would flow into the homeland of Macedonians. It has never been the homeland of Macedonians. And NOBODY gives money unconditionally unless it is to family ... and even then it is debatable.

It all gets back to the same problem...the inability or the refusal of Macedonians in the Republic to take responsibility and ownership of their plight...instead of always looking for somebody to do it for them...and when you see the corruption and the willingness of so many of them to shit on their own and bite the hand that feeds, you’d have rocks in your head to be throwing money into that bottomless pit of embarrassment.

How pathetic and typically Macedonian to now blame the Diaspora for their failure.

Perhaps a better question would be how much less money would the donkeys over there be willing to accept from Macedonians in the Diaspora vs whatever the EU is suggesting they will give in order to have some influence. The answer will be "we are whores, all donations are welcome".

I don’t get these people, they are so negative and hate filled. They always talk about how the Macedonian community is divided but these people are the ones that are always pointing fingers and criticizing everyone.

The way I see it is every Macedonian on the planet has failed in regards to what’s happened with the name change and the continued acceptance of it. However the people in Northern Macedonia must face the majority of the blame as they are the people who live in that country and have the power to change things.

Its embarrassing how much they hate the diaspora Macedonians, especially Australian Macedonians. Albanian tourists or Greek/bulgar businessmen get shown more respect than the diaspora when visiting. Its bizarre I don’t see the same sort of hate towards the diaspora when comparing with other Balkan countries.

Those dickheads keep blaming everyone else and expect others to fix their problems.

Milenko is just another fuckhead who pretends to be patriotic but spreads stupidity.

What was ironic was how he spoke about the Russians, and not waiting around like retards for someone else to come from the outside and fix your problems. Yet that same line of thinking is completely lost on him in relation to the diaspora.

This is what Macedonian "intellectualism" looks like, and then we are surprised that they can never connect the dots.

Its hard for me to be too hard and idiots like him only because he is still better than most Macedonians in a number of ways. This is what we have to work with and we need to make peace with that for now.
