    question for our greek historians

which part of greece accepted alexander as their king.

which parts of greece were conquered by alexander

why did so many greeks continue to struggle and fight against alexander.

when did he suddenly become king of all the greeks when no greek in his time ever voluntarily proclaimed him as their king.

    Greek response:

    1- Macedonia

2- Thebes, Phillip II 'united the rest'

3- They did not struggle, they where paid merceneries by the Persians

4- He is the king of greece now

i am still waiting for toothbrush to clean his teeth and then post an answer. he ssems to be the resident greek expert on history on this forum, i also notice the neo macedonain akritas the anatolian is registered on here where the hell is his response.

i think my questions are valid, if he was the man who unified greece which parts did he unify and how did he unify them. why did the greeks continue to struggle gainst the macedonians at every opportunity. it seems to em the only greeks who claim alexander unified the greeks and our new wannabe greeks the ones with a non greek heritage.

(Epigram written on the plundered Persian shields ,Alexander the Great sent to Acropolis Athens )

2.Why did the Samians revolted against Athenian Hegemony and Pericles?
(Samos got help by the Persians...were the Samians non-Greeks..? or the Athenians maybe?)
              (Pericles destroyed them)
Why did Potidaea revolted against Athenian Hegemony?
Why did Corfu resisted the Corinthians?
Why did Milos island was destroyed by Athenians when resisted Athenian imperialism?
Why did the Achaean cities confederation fought with the Aetolian cities confederation?
              ....................................
I guess nationalism in 19th century (..or 2008) Balkans cannot explain these questions too.

The Samians were responsible for building and providing the Athenian naval fleet with the war ships such as the Triremes etc, which were very effective in the Battle of Salamis in the Persian wars.
