Serb Folk Singer Ceca Raznjatovic to perform at this years Pivo Fest in Prilep

Last year it was Croatian singer Severina, this year its Ceca the Pivo Fest is getting bigger and bigger.

95% of the hotel rooms have been booked out in Prilep and Krushevo is almost full, they might start going to Bitola for accomodation LOL

They are definitely putting something in the beer to make it so popular in such a small place as Prilep.

Based on some internet footage, I would assume she was enticed by all those beer bottles pointing upwards

Bratot, Pivo Fest Prilep and Pivo Lend Skopje are by far the two biggest beer festivals in Stari Kraj, its great that the people in Prilep are being such good hosts and making this event bigger and bigger each years, last year it was fantastic.

Risto, Pivo Fest Prilep is not just about beer, its the skara too. When i was there last year there wasnt any meat left as it was pretty much eaten all, it was a huge success and hopefully this year it will be even better.

Vangelovski, She is getting payed 60k euros to sing, she is very expensive to arrange.

There are other Macedonian singers like Elena Risteska,Lambe Alabakovski, Super Hiks etc Hell even Esma Redzepova will be performing.

I guess i owe it to Vangelovski to answer his question, first of all im not sure if they will play Zhikino Kolo but it does say that a Serbian Truba Group from Gucha will be there. Im sure the UMD will be see this opportunity to show their support to this fantastic event, George Atanasovski is a proud UMD Supporter from Prilepsko so maybe he sponsors this event. Lets not forget that it is a beer festival which means there will be alot of guests from around Europe and abroad, there is alot of tourists from Australia aswell this time round.

You know what they say about the Skara in Prilep, its probably the best in Macedonia.

Over 320,000 people visiting, 230 tons of beer drunk and 123 tons of Skara eaten has to be the biggest record so far in Macedonia.

Well Done to Marjan Risteski for organizing such a fantastic event, it turned into a fantastic event.

What's wrong with Ceca? There are three songs of hers I like

Before you shoot me all I don't think it matters. It is annoying that we prefer the Serbian and Bulgarian pevajki to ours but I guess we prefer silikoni and heavy make up to prirodno. It's about taste and music is art (not sure Turbo to be part of it but they call it music). I like Queen and GNR, they are not Macedonian. I know we have politics dating back centuries with Serbia and Bulgaria but the singers if they are good and liked should go do whatever is they do. I personally don't like Turbo, it gives me a headache but there are few songs I like and a couple of those happen to be Ceca's. I am not less of a Macedonian.
Also when it comes to music to be honest it is something that has bothered me for a long time in Macedonia. Our singers are pretty much crap (not that the folkeri are not). But at least they can entertain where is nie imame na prsti da gi izbrois and they are not very good. Maybe we should start working on creating and finding talent in Macedonia (someone who can actually entertain).
