The German Embassy is looking to bring to investors in Ohrid mainly in the tourism sector.

Dimko, Whats your opinion on this? The Germans are one of the oldest tourists coming in Ohrid, what companies do you see them investing in Ohrid?

Its not the first time I have heard of germans being a demanding lot so german companies have to build german hotels to german standards and run by german managers to meet german expectations of customer service. We get a few jobs as chambermaides bartenders and gardeners. Ok ese. Then you can go back to your hood at night.

How do you think the "cold and efficient" german way of doing business will work the good old fashioned "balkan way" of doing business e.g. dodgy managers/politicians, stealing money from the business, lazy attitude etc

The sooner the better!

Guys from a customer point of view the sooner the better but from a wide investment point of view if you see someone doing something better get better yourself or do we go with the easy option of give up and let them take over. Maybe you are right. Maybe we are incapable of managing ourselves and the sooner someone takes over the better. But remember the profits go back to Germany and we get a few lower jobs an taxes. Hell why stop there Gruevski is bagged by many we could replace him too and maybe everything will run the cold efficient german way and we can all sing praises at the MTO about how good Macedonia is instead of bitching about her deficiencies. You never know maybe we will think its so good we will all want to move back there. Ive got dibs on the bartending job because I like booze. Whats your pick.
