Just lost 6% today on the sharemarket

I suppose I can't complain about the gains in the past .... but I feel a little thrashed today! .... Naturally I bought some more, this has got to be rock bottom .... I hope .

      It is in my opinion.
I just bought bucketloads of Argo Investments for cheap money!

Aussie company that invests in the sharemarket ... they made a record profit last year. And always usually do. (ASX code = ARG)

            Thanks.

Sometimes its better to let others pick the stocks and do the investing.

I made the mistake some time ago of investing directly in company shares - some worked, some didn't.

I think CBA (Commonwealth Bank) is a good buy at about $40.

ISA and Bonds only for me. I have always been sceptic of the share market. Even my pension is on safe plan, only 10% of it goes to the tricky share investment.
Three years ago I took out 10 year fixed rate mortgage, best thing I have ever done!
Then people call me gambler for putting the odd fiver on a horse here and there. Tfffff, what about the people that will retire this year or next year, or next few years for that matter? Years and years of investing in share based pension funds. Gamblers anonymous! Good luck in finding part time jobs to top up the income when you should be SKIing(Spending Kid's Inheritance)

I have a feeling Australia has hit rock bottom now (I have never felt this strong about it until now). Which means now is the time to invest heavily.

... But we are all pawns.

It really does feel like that sometimes - just pawns in a game.

If I had any spare cash, I would certainly buy some Aussie stock - because the fundamentals here look pretty good, unlike the U.S and Europe.
