Thanks Germany.
Macedonia doesn't need anyone else to muddy the water. The Macedonians in Macedonia are doing a great job all by themselves.

Numbnuts and Mecca can go and dig in their own backyards and get yunanistan to start coughing up some cash they wont pay back and keep their noses out of Macedonia's affairs, its already screwed up enough without them getting their dirty little noses control over the sinking ship that has become RoM without shooting glaciers at it

German MP: We could mediate in name row
Germany, being one of the most important countries in the European Union and in a time when the EU is 'static', could mediate in the Macedonia-Greece name row, Bundestag member Juergen Klimke told Deutsche Welle Macedonian Programme.
He says the three main challenges remain - EU and NATO integration, interethnic coexistence, and reduction of unemployment.
"These things are important for Macedonia and the EU, but a step forward is impossible due to the name dispute. For us Germans it is important to have both Yunanistan and Macedonia in the EU. As one of the most important countries in the EU, Germany could moderate, offer solid tangible proposals towards reaching a solution acceptable for all", stresses Klimke.
He says the aid Yunanistan received from Germany was reasonable and required adding the southern European country has numerous issues and it must obey its donors.
"Yunanistan has a number of open issues, such as Cyprus and Macedonia. If we want to help Yunanistan then we expect a counter-favor. Athens expects support from us and the EU over refugees. This would be reasonable support, but we would have to say 'you need to move forward in the Macedonia issue'. This is a form of giving and taking, balancing within the family", notes Klimke.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel met Tuesday with UN envoy in the name talks Matthew Nimetz, agreeing that obstacles can be overcome if there is political will.
Merkel thanked Nimetz for his long-standing mediation in the name row. They agreed that obstacles would be overcome "if there is appropriate political will in the capitals Athens and Skopje".
The Chancellor assured the UN envoy that the German government would continue to provide support in his efforts.

I don't think much will change for Macedonia however there are cracks forming in the dysfunctional unit called greece such as bankruptcy, fascist political factions and high unemployment...hence the Eurocrats aren't happy. One can only hope.Tags: None
