Today, we are witnesses to increasing Greek propaganda that denies the existence of the Macedonian nation, as well as stealing Macedonian history (especially ancient history) and adopting it as their own.
They claim in front of the world that today’s Macedonians were “Greeks”, and because of that, present day Macedonians have no right to call themselves Macedonians, or use the millennia-old name of our land - Macedonia.
But this lie will soon come to a definite end! Alexandar Donski, the Macedonian historian, has finished his research into this subject and the manuscript of his book, “Ancient Greek and other Ancient Testimonies of the Distinction of the Ancient Macedonians “ has recently been completed.
The book is being translated into English now, and the translation will be done at the highest, expert level.
The book "Ancient Greek and other Ancient Testimonies of the Distinction of the Ancient Macedonians" in its Macedonian version has 210 pages (A5 format), while the English version is somewhat longer. Astonishingly, it contains ancient testimonies of fifty eight ancient Greek and other ancient authors, who clearly claimed that the ancient Macedonians were not Greeks.
Some of these authors aren’t translated into Macedonian yet, and some of them aren’t even translated into English.
Quotes from these authors, followed by extended explanations, are presented in a simple and easily understandable style. They will present an unbreakable bulwark against Greek propaganda. The publication of this book will challenge the Greek propaganda with quotes from ancient Greek authors themselves, who wrote that the Ancient Macedonians were a completely different nation from the Greeks.
In the book, you will be able to read quotes from: Aechines, Agrippa II, Ampelius, Appian, Chlaeneas, Clement of Alexandria, Coenus, Cornelius Nepos, Demosthenes, Dexippus, Dicaearchus, Dionysus Caliphontis, Dio Cassius, Dio Chrysostomos, Diodorus Siculus, Ephorus, Eusebius of Caesarea, Flamininus, Heordian, Herodotus, Hesychius, Homer, Isocrates, Josephus Flavius, Justin, Pausanias, Philip V, Plutarch, Pseudo Scylax, Pseudo Scymnus, Quintus Curtius Rufus, Saint Augustine, Saint Paul, Sozomenus, Strabo, Suda, Theopompus, Thycudides, Trasymachus, Zosumus and others. All of them, in one way or another, clearly testify about the ethno-cultural individuality of the Ancient Macedonians!
The book even contains statements from Alexander the Great himself, the most successful Emperor in Macedonian history, who separated the Greeks from the Macedonians very clearly as well.
Because of the importance of this book in opposing Greek propaganda, we invite you to take part in its publishing!
