I of Macedon, Even swimming in Lake Ohrid,Dojran or Prespa its so easy to drown its not funny. We are used to the seawater and its alot easier to float, while in fresh water you sink right away you basically have to swim up just so you dont drown its very dangerous and its very easy to go under especially for a young kid.

Also in Prespa, there is some huge fish in there. When I was over there they had them in aquariums. You picked out which one you wanted and there you go. It was enough to feed a table.

Your not kidding either, Lakes are dangerous. I used to swim in them when I was still back home. You sink like a ton of bricks.

building a cafe precinct along vardar is a much better idea than dumping sand there and calling it a beach...

No, I only visited Greek part of Prespa's. We are lucky to have such beautiful landscapes. I would pack my stuff and live there if I had a house and a mediocre job in any day of the week.

Yes, Im sure ppl are leaving now. Going to Cyprus (Espescially) -Turkey, Macedonia, Bulgaria, UK, etc. I know many that have already left to Cyprus.

Just like what happened back in the 50's - 60's. Next generation of Diaspora Greeks making their homeland somewhere else.
The ones that remain will have to pick up the broken pieces. Hopefully we tear this place apart and make the ppl responsible pay. Then start from scratch. We will see.
