I love the first two...the 3rd and 4th make no sense to me.
Does anyone know if they were successful in increasing tourism? It might be too early to tell, but I'd love to find out if the money they spent was worth it. -

According to the State Statistical Office of Macedonia, the number of foreign tourists in March 2010 was 12.7% less than the number in March 2009.
Let's hope it picks up this summer....

The number of tourists in March 2010, compared to March 2009, decreased by 13.5%, and the number of nights spent decreased by 2.6%
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in March 2010 was 26 389, and the number of nights spent by tourists was 57 255.
The number of domestic tourists in March 2010, compared to March 2009, decreased by 12.9%, and the number of foreign tourists decreased by 14.0%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in March 2010, compared to March 2009, increased by 10.7%, and the number of nights spent by foreign tourists decreased by 12.7%.
The number of tourists in the period January-March 2010, compared to the same period last year, decreased by 14.2%: the number of domestic tourists decreased by 16.4%, while that of foreign tourists decreased by 12.1%.
The number of nights spent in the period January- March 2010, compared to the same period last year, decreased by 8.9%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 5.6%, while those by foreign tourists decreased by 12.6%
The number of foreign tourists in March 2010, compared to the previous month, increased by 11.2%, and the number of nights spent increased by 9.0%.Comment
