Yeah, it's been in the Macedonian newspapers about us playing a friendly against Chile on February 9th but nothing is official. We have been linked to playing Poland, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Bosnia, and Colombia but they all fell through so who knows what will happen with regards to Chile.

We are sinking further down every month in the FIFA rankings but it's not surprising with Mirsad Jonuz in charge. Some of his player selections have been baffling and he continues to play too defensive with players playing out of position. Every successful organization starts from the top and I'm not optimistic for the future with the terrible leadership of FFM. It's tough to have a good national team without a good domestic league. Our domestic league continues to get worse every year and it's sad to see what's happening with Macedonian football.

Makalek, Mirsad Jonuz was the head of the Junior National Side and for 6 years he did absolutely nothing. He didnt even get one half decent player into the Senior side anybody with half a decent football brain would have kicked him out years ago, but he was promoted once Srečko Katanec left. Since we have players going to play in Cyprus,Moldavia and Azerbaijan its not looking too good for us.

We will play a friendly against Cameroon on February 9th in Skopje at the Philip II Arena. Cameroon is currently ranked 38th in the FIFA rankings and their most famous player is Samuel Eto'o who is a teammate of Goran Pandev at Inter.

Our #2 keeper on the national team Martin Bogatinov signed with Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv today.

Sasa Ognenovski scored a goal for Australia today. Australia won 6:0 over Uzbekistan and Sasa scored the second goal for Australia in the 35th minute.

Sash has had a great tournament at the Asian Cup thus far. He was unlucky not to score for Australia in his previous match against Iraq.
I hope he has a great game against Japan in the final.

Sash for me was the best player in the Asia Cup Tournament, he was so solid at the back and the proof is that Australia only conceded 2 goals in the whole tournament.

We lost 1:0 to Cameroon. It was a pretty boring game as the field was in terrible condition. Cameroon was gracious enough to accept this friendly and bring star player Samuel Eto'o to Macedonia but FFM could care less as the field was covered with mud. Embarrassing.

Cameroon scored their goal in the 75th minute when Vlade Lazarevski for some reason left the person he was marking who then sent in a dangerous cross that was met by the head of a Cameroon player and he scored past the keeper Edin Nuredinoski. We had a chance to equalize minutes later but Ilco Naumoski whiffed on a header from close range following great service in the box by Ivan Trickovski.

The Pitch was a cow paddock, absolute disgrace.

A boring game and i cant see us going far with Jonuz in charge.
