Makalek, Ivan Trickovski and Boban Grncarov both scored for Apoel Nicosia in a 2-2 draw. The Trickovski goal was a cracker, a wonder goal.

Yeah, a very good goal by Trickovski. He now has 6 goals in 12 league games for APOEL. He is in great form and he has also played well for our national team as well. I hope to see him in a stronger league soon.

Ilco Naumoski caused problems once again this past Saturday. After the Mattersburg vs Magna game which Naumoski's team Mattersburg lost 1:0, he allegedly punched the Magna kit manager in the face and the Magna police will press charges against Naumoski who also faces a lengthy suspension and/or fine. Reading some newspapers out of Austria today, Naumoski faces a suspension anywhere from 2 to 48 games but I think he will get a severe punishment since he is a repeat offender. He has always had issues with his temper and he has ruined his career. No team will touch him after all the negative headlines.

Makalek, Ilco Naumoski is a loose cannon, i havnt seen a forward pick up more yellow and red cards he has a problem with his temper. He does show alot of heart and sacrificed alot i mean he gave up his Austrian Citizenship in order to represent Macedonia but he has a problem with his attitude.

Makalek, Boban Grncarov is a very underrated player, i think he could have done alot more in his career. His whole family are professional sportsman, his father was a football player and his brother is a well known basketball player.

Here is an interview of the last remaining player who represented FK Makedonija where the famous Ilesh Shpic was the head coach. He was a Hungarian Jew from Serbia and went on to coach the first Macedonian Football Team, there is going to be made a film about it, its going to be called Трето Поувреме (The Third Half Time) directed by Darko Mitrevski.

Pandev should have had another assist in the 42nd minute when he sent a great through ball to Diego Milito but Milito waited too long to shot and his weak effort was saved. Pandev showed good finishing on the first goal and hopefully the goal will give him some confidence moving forward because he has struggled in Serie A action and has missed some huge chances.

I forgot to post this but Ilco Naumoski was given a 3 game suspension for allegedly punching the kit manager of the opposing team. The ruling said the testimony of the kit manager was conflicting so Naumoski got a favorable ruling since he was facing a suspension anywhere from 2 to 48 games.

Today, Ivan Trickovski scored another goal for APOEL while Igor Mitreski scored his first goal in a Neftchi uniform.

The Macedonian U19 team will play two friendlies against our southern neighbors on January 11th and 13th. Both games will be played in the city of Kastoria. This is the first time that any of our national teams has played a friendly against our neighbors to the south.
