TLWR, this is a case of Greeks being nice to you (to your face) but still unable to be trusted in matters of identity. They are generally good people on all levels except this issue of identity & nationality. Put them in a group and the pack mentality starts to fester. In this instance, they may as well be spitting on your identity. I would ask about their motivations.

I totally agree with you 100%, face level they are nice but behind your back they are all the same...Racist and Anti -Macedonian.
I am waiting for the day they slip inregards to my identity...

This has probably been posted somewhere before, but it's relevant nonetheless.
The parts I've highlighted in boxes are the personel accounts that are related to the Greek provocations and ongoing oppression of Macedonians in Greece and even abroad.
The part about Article 19 is also very interesting and a complete joke. The Greeks really are a unique, inhumane bunch.

I don't mind greeks at all, their agenda is typically obvious. Macedonians often give me much more cause for concern.

The only thing that is consistent with macedonians is that they have this slave mentality.They let others decide their fate for them,They let greeks write their history for them.They readily accept propaganda dished out to confuse them as to who they are.THe govt is weak & the only actions for all decisions is compromise & capitulation.THere is no decisiveness but indecision.Also fear of offending moborities & fear offending their neighbour sets in they can't name statues or aiports after historical figures.The mindset of a slave is not very good no one yearns for the taste of freeedom like in the old days when real heroes were around

I don't know this man personaly...but i read on FB how a Macedonian was ordered to take his top off at Athens airport because it displayed the Macedonian sun. Thats Razers European democracy for yah.

Greek Elite Scuba Diving Team Forced to stop singing about 'glorious Macedonia'


"Shut your mouths, that song is banned" was an order from a Greek commanding officer after a group of what appear to be elite scuba diving soldiers sang 'glorious Macedonia' while marching in the city of Pazar.

At first the soldiers were warned with a loud whistle, but since they continued singing the commanding officer ran up to them and forced them to stop.

The soldiers were instructed to sing a song in which the 'greekness' of Macedonia is celebrated by thieir group leader who appeared very angry when a higher ranking Army officer prevented them.
The group leader went as far as to complain to Greece's Minister of Defense who confirmed that there was indeed a directive by the highest ranks in the Army banning the song.

What is it that the soldiers sang?
"Macedonia, land of Alexander. You got rid of the tyrants (referring to the Macedonians), and now you are free. You were and you remain Greek. Greeks were and are proud, Macedonians can not live oppressed. Even if they lose everything, freedom will remain. Macedonians play, be happy."

This is part of the song "Glorious Macedonia". Not necessarily a masterpiece or a catchy song, unfortunately Greece at this time can only afford the services of Steve Gaga, the little known brother of Lady Gaga. //Meri Sazdovska

That song is really a tip of the iceberg as greeks have tried to change songs ,history etc there's no end to accomodate their propagandan thinking that macedonia was greek.There are songs which haven't been altered & people do know the truth that the real macedonia shines through.You can run but you can't hide eventually people do find out.That song & others represents greek resntment & hate of being under the macedonian yoke of tyranny etc oppression?? was it i think it was better under the macedonians than the greeks.THe macedonians were more just & reasonable.But then again the greeks resnted anything & everything.Today they don't mind appropriating anything macedonian as they claim it's all greek ,only on the surface of what they have changed but deeper will reveal the fallacy about the truth.That macedonians were neither greek or anything but macedonian.

Where did these Turkish/Vlach/Albanians now called modern Greeks find the money to produce these stickers, last time i watched television (Today) they were queuing up for food hand outs in Athens..... apparently they have some financial crisis and are receiving bail outs and warned not to waste their money.

Greek border services have started covering the letters "MK" on Macedonian car number plates with a sticker of their own, marking a new low in Greek-Macedonian relations.

Greek border guards have begun covering the letters "MK" on Macedonian car plates with a sticker, in Greek and English, reading: “Recognized by Greece as FYROM” [Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia].

The Greek liaison office in Skopje confirmed the new practice, saying the country had a right to do this under the 1995 UN interim agreement that regulates relations between the two states.

They say this will affect only vehicles with the new plates containing the letters MK.

Macedonia introduced new number plates in February, saying they were needed to meet EU standards. Unlike the old ones, the new plates feature MK in small letters in the corner.

Macedonia's Interior Ministry said it was surprised by the move and was still considering its reaction.

Relations between Macedonia and Greece have been strained for two decades by the row over Macedonia's name. Greece insists that use of the term "Macedonia" implies a territorial claim to its own northern province of the same name.

Citing the unresolved issue, Greece has been blocking Macedonia’s progress towards both EU and NATO membership. UN-brokered talks to overcome the dispute have so far failed to yield a solution.

The Greek move could potentially have a major impact on tourism, as Greece is a top summer destinations for many Macedonians - and many drivers may object to having their cars tampered with in this way.

In the summer of 2011 there were some 400,000 entries of Macedonian citizens to Greece, records show.

The UN recognised Macedonia under the provisonal term of Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, or FYROM, in 1993 - but most Macedonians strongly resent use of the term.

why would anyone go to greece to have their number plate covered for a holiday.They take our land,take our flag symbol,they are trying to take our name.Is there anything else they want us to do bend over?? We have been screwed enough we should stand up for our rights.Greece needs to recognize & accept us.
