Toby, now that you're back, I suggest you consider your attitude towards the well respected activists on this forum.

My argument is outlined in Post626 (main point in bold) and Post630 - basically it needs to be one rule for all and common cutesy extended to all or 'suffer no fools' and tell it straight up as it is and F' them. Length of time of being a member should not be a measuring stick to how much common cutesy is extended.

You may even want to think about apologising to Makedonche.

That will never happen because I feel I have nothing to apologise for just standing my ground and not continually taking shit from someone for no reason.

The above said and done the next course of action is to withdraw inter-reaction with the offending people and if in future no maintenance of order is evident then to reconsider my position.

Looking at my own situation I can only guess at his motivation may have been caring about the Macedonian name like myself (it's only speculation) but every day I see Macos going about their day and not being a member of anything or posting anywhere and being quite content. Their usual response is, "if the Macos in RoM can't be bothered doing anything about the situation koga mu cadi na glavata sekoj den then why should I be bothered doing anything when I can't even change anything from here (ie the West)". It's almost as pathetic a response as that seen from RoM (very sad but true, kaj sto nema sloga nema boga) but very tempting like drinking bitters (ie the bitter spice drink) instead of not having any drink at all so suggestions of a "permanent holiday" does't faze me.

Today I take crap from my boss to try to get ahead."

I think it neatly summarises why people take crap from others.

I don't know you but from your posts I would guess you have either a managerial position or your own small business or if involved with the military then of some rank but not supper high.

I can understand it's easy to mentally stay in 'work mode' outside of work, especially if you're in a 'boys' club' environment at work like the military or shop floor but what I think you and a lot of other people need to remember is this is a volunteer 'job' because people care about Macedonia and not because 'my ass is hanging on the line' and so a totally different standard is expected and tolerated than work.

It may also explain why a site like this with the very high caliber of information it contains has not swelled in active membership numbers in proportion to it's other better qualities while some like Vostarec disappeared after one lick ie when the basics (common cutesy and respect) are missing even at the Salvos/soup kitchen it's possible to 'fire' all your volunteers and be left with doing all the cooking, serving and bussing tables by yourself to the detriment of the patrons (ie Macedonia).

No, I actually wrote them off-the-cuff today - I don't need to claim I need a week off to come up with a response.

I did think about writing them earlier but couldn't justify the time given the low priority they represent and I think I'll just go back to my mainly Saturday/Sunday afternoon schedule like I was doing before I joined the MTO. I'm hitting a busy patch anyway.

I really don't know what to do ie stop or not?

eg the Federal Reserve and Royal Bank are screwing the USA and Canada population into poverty and debt servitude JUST because of a law passed allowing them to do so which can be repealed at ANY time so why have USA and Canadian citizens not demanded this law be repealed - do the like being F'ed?

There are many Macedonians living in those two countries and I know some MTO members are from there so why the lack of interest in the topics here - the "don't know, don't wan't to know" or "I'm too pathetically weak to get motivated to protest/write letters to congress/become an activist just like the Macos in RoM whom I love to bash for the same reasons from the safety of my own home and computer"?

No matter what proof you bring they actively want to shoot everything you say down with kooky/lay of the drugs/are aliens making you say it? lines. Why are they actively trying to stifle information relevant to all Macedonians?

eg the 'body scanner' machines at USA airports are coming to Australia and other places around the world. The experiences and radiation concerns they have had are alarming and have reduced tourism to the USA substantially. Do you think this will not happen to Australian jobs/businesses, and if you work in the hospitality/restaurant/tourism industry your job/business wont be affected even if you don't believe the health risks to you and your family which on their own should provoke you to get interested.

eg the chem-trails and pesticides/GM crops shown to be killing bees (yeah, those posts got a good laugh) - no bees = no pollination = low food = you pay through the nose for basic food = you then starve if it gets bad enough. No let's not be interested in bees, it's kooky/aliens even though Man cannot survive without them.

It's laughable the way some people argue to a predictable formula - like painting by numbers - when someone catches you out and nails the point just say they don't make any sense/they're insane/nobody can understand them.

Case in point - in the "Albanisation" thread Tomche Makedonche likes to insult and out of his delusional sense of self-importance expects the insulted to just cop-it quietly. But if those insults are challenged then he likes to create a "count" of the number of times he "made you" respond to his insults as if he now is 'playing you' or something.

In other words let the insult stand and don't respond (ie cop-it) or you are somehow being played and hence an inferior moron for allowing yourself to be played.
