This should have live coverage, make sure you go there on the day as it only broadcasts live games

The lights on top of the stands have been tested and they work, all they need to do now is put in the rest of the seats. The Beton director is saying they are putting in 2500 per day instead of the usual 1000 per day limit.

Tickets are already on sale, 20,000 tickets are available.

I must say this stadium now is world class, once the other stands will be completed it would be up there with the best stadiums in the Balkans.

I was last at the stadium in 2004, when Macedonia played a Euro qualifier against Armenia. Pandev scored a long range cracker and we got up 3-0. The stadium was still known as Gradski.

We sat in the big stand ( i think it was labelled juzhna). I always felt that it felt unfinished and needed another decent stand on the opposite side. Calling it Filip II Arena is awesome I think.

Anyone know where we can view the Liverpool - Rabotnicki game in Sydney? Will it be on UBI World TV?

MKD, Tickets cost 300 denars in Server and Juzna Tribina, Istok and Zapad are not finished yet.

The workers are doing their very best for the southern stand to be built on time, it has to be completed by Thursday.

Dejan, Whats your opinion on the Filip Ftori Stadium?

I hope Rabotnicki get the win! Most of my Macedonian friends go for Liverpool, and I always feel sorry for them, as they are let down by an inconsistent team every year.

On another note, I was in Las Vegas last week, and I ended up acquainting myself with Wayne Rooney! We chatted for a good 5-10 minutes. No one really knew who he was around there. As I am a Man U fan, this was the highlight of my trip!

And all this for about $7-8 AU per ticket!!

I am sure a lot of lucky tourists there during this summer will swarm upon the 'Philip II Arena' to see this massive game...
