    Shanghai Expo- Australian Pavillion- Macedonian sun?

    It's not exactly our sun but it definitely caught my eye. Do you think it's meant to be a compass?

    - Секој чоек и нација има можност да успеат колку шо си дозволуваат. Нема изговор.
    - Every human and nation has the ability to be as great or as weak as they allow themselves to be. No excuses.

    It may be a compass... I'm not sure.

    But what I do know for sure, is that it is not related to the Macedonian pavilion in any way, and it in fact looks to be more related to Macedonia than the pavilion that should have been the 'Pavilion of the Repbulic of Macedonia'.

    In fact, there is no Macedonian pavilion....at the Shanghai expo in China, a country which recognises the rightful name of the Republic of Macedonia, the Macedonian Government has gone in with the 'Pavilion of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia'.

    Disgusting.

    Yes, the Australian pavilion looks more Macedonian than the one from 'FYROM' (the name they have chose for themselves, as opposed to Macedonia, which they were free to use). Macedonia is not a member of the 'Bureau International des Expositions'.

        Self-censorship.

            They are committed to the Interim Accord and showing how constructive they are in destroying our identity.

                Rather than making these assumptions based on website content, you should be asking whether in fact the 'Macedonian Government' sanctioned the interim name at this event, unless you know otherwise, i am giving your post a big thumbs down for spreading hurtful propaganda.

                Note:
                ====
                1. Governments that have recognized 'The Republic of Macedonia', have and do so bilaterally - when dealing directly with each other.
                2. The interim name has become an ISO standard, unfortunately!
                3. This ISO standard is used by millions of private organizations sanctioned to put on these type of events, regardless of whether the event is staged in a country that recognizes ROM or not.
                4. Even if 'ALL' countries except Greece, recognize 'The Republic of Macedonia', the ISO standard still exists.
                5. If the interim accord was thrown away today, and provided the ISO changed the standard in the short term, then it could be years, if not decades, if not a whole generation until the interim name is totally wiped off the planet! This makes me sick to the stomach.
